If you are married to a wonderful man like him, this book will give you an even deeper appreciation for your husband and will strengthen your marriage. This is also a wonderful resource to give to unbelieving friends or those who are struggling in finding their significance in Christ rather than what others may think of them.

Review: A friend bought me this book (he had previoulsy bought me 'The Scarlet thread', and 'A Voice in the Wind'. I read it in ONE sitting - I did not go to bed till I finished it. It really touched my heart, and ministered to me. It brought to light God's redeeming love, a love that is there no matter what we do, the love which makes us all that we are, gives us all that we have in Christ. A must read!!! Francine Rivers, go on!!

Summary: What an AWESOME book!!!
Review: This was the first book that I read of Francine Rivers. Oh my...what a book. Since I was only vaguely familiar with the story line... it was such a love story. Michael loved God with all his heart and soul. He depended on him completely. The way God guided Michael to Angel...the way he kept guiding him to her over and over again. Angel running off and coming back again. Michael forgave her over and over again. I loved the way God spoke out in this book. I felt sometimes he was talking to me too. This was such an uplifting story. I would recommend this book to anyone and everyone!

Review: I highly recommend this book. It is a beautiful love story not only between Hosea and Angel but between them and God. The characters are believable and real. I read it and read it again and also bought copies for others to read. I LOVE THIS BOOK.

Summary: A wonderful picture of the Book of Hosea
Review: The worst part of this book was that I had to put it down too often to find my tissues! It helped me understand the Book of Hosea to a new extent. It is so nice to be able to personalize the books of the Bible by translating the situations into a modern (19th century) love story. Michael is the perfect example of Christ's love, and Angel is the epitomy of our stubborness. I loved the book....just as much as I loved "The Last Sin Eater". Read 'em both!!

Review: I could not believe how well written this book was and how absolutely captivating. I read it in two nights. The love story of Michael and Angel made me realize God's awesome love for me (Michael didn't give up on Angel; God doesn't give up on us!) He loves us passionately, and in an all-consuming way. YOU SHOULD READ THIS BOOK, ESPECIALLY IF YOU ARE MARRIED!

Summary: A powerful example of what every human wants most...Love.
Review: This is my first read by Francine Rivers and I plan to do much more after this book! This is the best book I have read in a long, long time. Not only is this an example of how every human wants to be loved, but of the high price true love can be. The names of every character were obviously thought through; and, as Ms. Rivers says in her commentary, this book was written with God's hand. As a mostly non-fiction reader, I did not know such meaningful Christian fiction existed. As the result of a very painful divorce that left me unable to trust, I have been changed and my heart has been opened by the love of Michael and his dependency on God to go the distance. Wow! Thank you, Francine!

Summary: 2 very differant lives, inter-twined by an amazing God!!!!
Review: This book was one of the best books i have ever read. I started this book on a monday evening at about 5:30 and didn't put it down until 12:30 that night. It was an amazing story, of Gods plans for our life, and how they may be the farthest from what we expect, but how God shows his faithfulness through every task as long as we obey. This was a great rendition of the book of the bible Hosea. This is a must to read!
