Rating: Summary: An absolutely awesome book! Review: Redeeming Love is my favorite book ever! Although fictional, the story of Angel and Michael Hosea is based on the book in the Bible, Hoesa. Redeeming Love is about Angel, a prostitue, whom God has told Michael Hosea to marry. Once you sart this captivating book, you will not be able to put it down!
Rating: Summary: this book you have to read!!! Review: this is the best book i have ever read. i bought 2 books just so i would always be able to share. it really shows how God is at work in us when we don't even know who he is. That he has a plan for all of us regardless of what we have done. this book is a must read book.
Rating: Summary: Man Reads Romance Novel? Review: Yes, the cover is hard to get past, but you will be extremely glad you did. Secret: it is not a romance novel! Read it. Outstanding!
Rating: Summary: Men are missing out! Review: This is deffinately the best book I have ever read - ever! I would love to think some men would read it. Perhaps if the author/publishers would change the cover to be more appealing to men? It was just brilliant I bought four copies and lent them all out to my friends and they all thought it was brilliant too. But unfortunately the two men I've tried to get to read it just take one look at the cover. Please ... same book different cover for men.
Rating: Summary: The best way to see God's redeeming love Review: This book was so incredible. It showed God's unfailing and merciful love through fictional characters. You won't regret reading it.
Rating: Summary: beyond a "romance" book Review: Let me say, I usually despise "romance" novels. Yet, on the strong recommendation of a friend, I read this book and loved it deeply. It deals with some of the deepest issues in our relationships -- will this person stick around? will this person still love me once they find out what I"m *really* like. On one level this is a romance between a man and a woman; on the other it is a brave re-telling of a biblical story that makes many Christians squirm -- God telling Hosea to marry a prostitute. I recommend this book to everyone now, even non-romance readers such as myself.
Rating: Summary: still thinking about it Review: i read this book about 2 months ago and i find myself STILL thinking about it. i find myself sitting, reading a new book and then suddenly i think bout redeeming love. that is a rare thing for me.
Rating: Summary: Can't get enough Review: Redeeming Love is the sixth book I've read written by Francine Rivers. IT WAS WONDERFUL! I enjoyed it as much as A Voice in the Wind, which is still my favorite. Her characters all seem so real I find myself thinking of them often as if I knew them personally. Through her writing my relationship with God has become stronger. I am able to face lifes difficulties with ease because I know God is in control. Although fictional stories, the love God has for all of us is clearly illustrated in Francine's books. I thank God for giving her such a wonderful gift.
Rating: Summary: Redeeming Love Review: This is the best book that I have ever read. I couldn't put it down, and I would find myself constantly thinking about it. It was such an awsome way to see how much God loves us like Micheal loved Angel. It was a great way to see how a love relationship should be. It was a God-sent thing for me. I love it!
Rating: Summary: One of the best Review: REDEEMING LOVE is one of the best Christian novels I have ever read. Well-written, moving, and very telling of God's wonderful, redeeming love for us.
