Rating: Summary: A riveting story, a heartfelt romance Review: With 50 reviews posted here, I don't know what I can add except that I was completely drawn in to this story. The main character suffers one event, at age 3, that directs the entire course of her life. And like signposts along the way, she keeps having encounters with the most amazing guy...until they finally realize what it all means and put it all together. How intriguing is that? It's easy to see why Nora Roberts is the #1 author in America. Probably the world, too.
Rating: Summary: "Been there--Done that." Review: I don't think I can take these characters or this story plot again. No originality, just a repeat from earlier books (same goes for Homeport). Maybe I should take a sabbatical from Nora Roberts. The writing was good and probably impressive to first-time NR readers, but compared to her earlier novels, things are definitely on the downswing.
Rating: Summary: too violent Review: I don't know why the writers who have been so successful writing love stories are turning to books with violence in them. There is enough violence in the world without having to read it by your favorite authors. I found the violence too disturbing to read the book. Much disappointment!!!
Rating: Summary: one of the BEST Review: that ive read by nora roberts thus far. loved the story, loved the thrill and had absolutely NO CLUE who it was and once i found out, i had to go back and read it again to make sure i had read it correctly!! ::smile
Rating: Summary: AN INTRIGUING READ! Review: RIVER'S END is a intriguing story filled with suspense, murder, tragedy, and a passionate love. This is a wonderful read that I know you'll enjoy. Trust me!
Rating: Summary: A Nora Roberts Fan Review: I read this book in the bookstore because her previous book, "The Reef" was very dissapointing and I was afraid to spend money on her newest text. I have to say that "River's End" is a much better read than "The Reef", but Im still dissapointed in the wishy-washy personalities of her most recent heroines.
Rating: Summary: awesome! Review: i do not understand how all of you out there can call books like Genuine lies better then this one! what stupidity, nor as someone suggested are people who read these novels highly unintelligent with a sixth grade reading level, i take offense to comments like these because i read and enjoy "this kind of book" does not mean i am stupid it just means that i am looking for a fun fast paced break from reality that is also a good book i went to schools here in america i still am i have read homer and shakespeare and all the others and i enjoy them just as much, but unlike some people i seem to have less time for "intelligent" reading STOP BEING SO HARSH PLEASE! you make yourselves sound petty and as stupid as you claim the book to be.
Rating: Summary: Amazing. Review: This book was great. I like the whole Hollywood idea that Nora does sometimes. I like the thieves she writes better, but Noah was cool. I should no better than to read other people's reviews. They tend to make me mad. Didn't anyone ever teach you people manners? If you can't say something nice don't say anything at all.
Rating: Summary: BORING! Review: The book started out fairly interesting, and went downhill from there....I finally threw it down in disgust about halfway through. Not her best effort. Homeport was much better in my opinion.
Rating: Summary: Very suspenseful, couldn't put it down! Review: First time to read this author and was very impressed. Nora Roberts combined mystery, murder and romance all in one.
