Summary: Thought provoking
Review: At first I was skeptical about a channeled book. It was slow reading in the beginning for me. Then about half way I started reading information about our history, which prompted me towards
a better history curriculum for my children. I realized that many things he had said was true, some shockingly so, and backed up by decent researchers in other areas.

We are constantly not told many things about our origins, history and who really runs the show of our society. Our educational systems perpetuate it through careless, boring textbooks to keep a pretty picture. This book gives a simplistic, general overview which can be backed by other out of the mainstream books/research. I recommend finding those books (start with Howard Zinn, James Loewen, and Richard Maybury; feel free to move on to Zecharia Stitchen). I'm not saying these other books have all the answers but their positions make you think further on how we have been decieved into holding onto beliefs that aren't serving us for our evolution and personal growth.
Time to wake up.

Review: I'm not going to swallow it all, but I think Becoming God II is an interesting cult classic. It is however the stuff that should stay on AM radios, being played late at night.....

Summary: Engaging and usefull
Review: This book and the first one in the series contain alot of information that is fascinating, foreboding, and much of it probably hard to swallow for many. I loved reading it, and I was a little uncertain of what to make of some of it.

If you don't mind being introduced into a completely alternative version of earth history and involvement in the universe, then there's lots of wonderfull spiritual teachings you will be able to pick up along the way. But the best thing about the book by far is the wonderful prayers and exercises it contains. Ever want prayers that really work? This book has them. Only about five or six prayers and exercises, but they are powerful in my experience. I finally found something in this book that enabled me to get some spiritual experience myself, rather than having to go and read other people's books all the time. The prayers were my direct link to the spiritual, and I found myself out of the mood to buy books for a year and a half afterwards, just because I had finally found my own source of spirituality through these prayers. They were a reliable and repeatable spiritual experience for me. Consider this book if you like way-out-there theories and if you would like some actual spiritual experiences.
