Summary: Great witnessing tool!!
Review: The Evidence Bible is the New Testament + Psalms & Proverbs in the KJV. Throughout the entire Bible there are quotes from every revivalist you can think of in addition to some from well known scientiest. This Bible has the answer to any question - Athieism, evolution, dinosaurs, etc.. Great for skeptics & so awesome for street witnessing.

Rating: 1 stars
Summary: NOT for thinking minds
Review: This book contains Ray Comfort's opinion on many matters. He bends the scriptures to suit his own beliefs. As an example, on page 170 (Matthew 5:44) he attempts to validate executing people and does not mention Jesus' very clear directions not to avenge e.g. Romans 12:14,12:17, 12:19
Unfortunately he is also inaccurate and makes untruthful statements about science and scientific research throughout the book, for example about geology and dating of fossils. And then despite supposedly discrediting carbon-dating in previous arguments he then uses carbon dating to validate the Dead Sea Scrolls.
This book is full of personal opinion pretending to be fact and is not for a thinking mind. It's Ray Comfort's distortion of Jesus' teachings.

Summary: Very reliable!
Review: This is a very good version of the New Testament, Psalms & Proverbs for a post-modern generation who needs insight into bible history. I must address the anonymous reviewer who is very misinformed! He said that Ray Comfort tries to justify executions! Here's the part Mr. Anonymity quotes in its entirety: (Quote) "5:38
'When the Bible says 'an eye for an eye,' it encourages
us to take the law in our own hands
by avenging wrongdoing.' This verse is so often misquoted by the world. Many believe it is giving
a license to take matters into our own hands and render evil for evil.
In reality, it is referring to civil law concerning restitution. If someone
steals your ox, he is to restore the ox. If someone steals and wrecks
your car, he is to buy you another one...a car for a car, an eye for an
eye, a tooth for a tooth.
The spirit of what Jesus is saying here is RADICALLY DIFFERENT [emphasis mine] from the "sue the shirt off the
back of your neighbor" society in which we live." (Unquote). Do you understand? He's not saying go kill somebody, but that civil law required the offender to make reparation to the offended; to apologize by replacing what has been damaged at his/her expense. How is this validating the execution of people?! I don't have the space to correct the other erroneous material; trust the Lord, and His people entrusted by Him, people who have spent their lives and time gathering the historical and scientific information substantiating the validity of the Word of God. Forget trying to tear this book apart. It has been tried for centuries, but to no avail. Jesus Rules!

God Bless!
