Summary: An excellent survey of the different Buddhist schools
Review: This is a scholarly, but readable, book for college level readers.

The book is short, and yet, still manages to compare and contrast the Hinayana (Theravadic) and Tantrayana ("Tibetan") traditions. Its only shortcoming is that it doesn't say much about Zen Buddhism.
