Rating: Summary: Recommended by Writer's Digest for bible studies. Review: "Truthseeker" is a timeless book and one to be reread again and again. The true short stories with appropriate scriptures and prayers takes the reader on a journey of recognizing God through the reality of their own personal life experiences. Many life issues are addressed. Such as divorce, addictions, fear, evil, prayer, and our own inmortality. Highly recommended for anyone searching for the truth in their life. Helps the reader to answer the question, "who I'm I, why I'm I here?"
Rating: Summary: Inspirational Devotion Review: As I began to read this book it didnt take me long to realize this was going to be one of those books that I would read quickly. I also knew that it would be one that would not get put away on a bookshelf and forgotten, but rather kept on my nightstand, or taken with me on trips so that I could refer to it often. I could relate to all of the authors experiences in one way or another and she showed me that God was with me through all of them. I found myself calling friends and family and reading them a chapter from the book as it related to my life experiences. Truthseeker is a devotional self help book and one you must read....over and over again!!!
Rating: Summary: Time Well Spent Review: Reading Truth Seekers was like a visit with the author. Honest and to the point. As her friend from gradeschool and maid of honor at her first wedding, I was aware of her early spiratual seeking. At 13 she was a very hard headed, misinformed Catholic Chick who believed she wasn't supposed to read the Bible herself. Being a born again Baptist Babe, I unplugged her ears and made her listen to the New Testament. I rejoice that the words she heard and filed away have taken hold in her life. Best yet, that she is inspired to help others achieve the "peace that passeth all understanding". Good show, good buddy. It is a book for all persons no matter where they are on their spiritual journey. It confirms to me, that those who make a decision to follow Christ early can spare themselves much heartache as the author had to endure. Those still seeking can find inspiration and instruction to resolve personal conflicts resulting from an absence of a personal relationship with their maker. This is a success story with deeply personal, life altering subjects. May all who seek, reach up and grasp the truth of eternal life. The author was voted "Funniest Female Senior" by our Juneau, Alaska high school. I hope she will next become a Cool, Christian Commedian who writes her own material. She could do that! She knows honest joy.
