Summary: Compilation of Essays
Review: Relgion and Globalization is an extremely informative book, mainly compiled of essays. It presents a lot of information, and helps a lot when analyzing society regarding relgious beliefs. The trouble I found with this book is it's long, ongoing facts and little personal value. Also, it focuses mainly on Christianity, Islam and a bit of Judaism, but I find there are a lot of Asian beliefs disregarded in the book.

I must say that Religion and Globalization is an excellent book if you want to learn the effects of Christianity, Islam and Judaism, and is a book to be used as a source of information for further research, but if you are looking for a book for entertainment reading or seeking common knowledge, I wouldn't recommend this book for you.
