Summary: Real Life Ghostbuster
Review: Echo Bodine takes readers along on some of her investigations. A couple of them were done for the television series Sightings. Both of these stories were told in greater depth than the others. I wish she had gone into more detail with all of them and done some background research to see if what the ghosts told her could be substantiated. After each tale she presents an interesting fact or two she learned from her paranormal encounters. One thing I'd never heard before was that ghosts are able to steal energy from people by taking their breath away. I've often awakened from sleep with a very frightening feeling of being suffocated. This could explain it, since we seem to be full up on wandering ghosts around here. Echo also includes guidelines to help get rid of a ghost and some information on the Squadron, a group of former earthbound spirits who can be called in to help clear a place of ghosts. While I wish that she went into more depth as far as building histories are concerned, I felt that this book was a valuable resource for anyone born with the ghost-hunting gene.

Summary: Great!
Review: I read this book in 2 days! It was very interesting. Echo tells everything in a plain down to earth manner that's easy to understand and entertaining at the same time. I've had my own experience with a ghost a few years ago and this book helped me to understand what was going on. I would also recommend another book by Echo Bodine called "The Gift".

Rating: 4 stars
Summary: Easy, breezy read!
Review: The author, Echo Bodine, writes about two of my favorite subjects in this book: psychics and ghosts. She covers a great deal of ground in this small book and her writing style is warm and friendly, if a bit immature. Some readers may be annoyed by the writing style and the fact that Ms. Bodine occasionally repeats herself but overall this is a good read.
