Rating: Summary: Seek this book out Review: In "Tarot for Yourself" Ms. Greer's first book in this series there is an exercise relating to creating a personality profile. "Tarot Constellations" takes this simple exercise of connecting astrology and numerology to the tarot and expands it to a full length book. Many ideas expanded in this method would suffer and the book would begin to feel like so much fluff, not so with "Tarot Constellations." The constellations the title refers to the relationships between the major and minor arcane. Their interconnectedness is expounded on and related in a manner that is both insightful and easy to internalize. Ms. Greer provides some of the most in-depth personality interpretation I have found. Her system tends to go into more detail than many texts on psychology. The book is sadly out of print but it is well worth your time and effort to track down a copy for yourself.
Rating: Summary: A More Dynamic Understanding of the Tarot Review: _Tarot_Constellations_ is an invaluable tool for anyone wishing to develop a deeper understanding of the tarot. Rather than rely on rote memorization, the exercises and theories presented by Ms. Greer help devlop a remarkable insight into the relationships between the Tarot and the self. By interacting with the cards themselves, one creates dynamic interpretations of each card and patterns of cards, that evolve with the individual. This engaging, interactive text opens new avenues to examining relationships between the cards themselves, and to how these patterns play out in our everyday lives.
