Summary: African American Sistah keeps it real about being single
Review: This book of poems offers a real perspective on being single to anyone who is in touch with his/her feelings. I've thought about so many things the author has said in her poetry, but my thoughts never stayed in my head long enough for me to face them. Jacqueline brings some of those thoughts to paper, and reading her book over and over again helps me to deal with some of the things that I have been going through in this single's plight. The book also keeps it real from a Christian perspective because it makes me realize that although I am a Christian, I am a human being with human feelings and it's not always easy to do things God's way. As a matter of fact; it's a downright struggle. Jacqueline gives confirmation to me and my feelings. I am so glad that I had the chance to read this book. Every single person ought to have a copy (you'll want another to pass on to a single friend or relative).
