Summary: 5 Stars for Me
Review: At the end of the 1st chapter, Tony puts a gun to his head and pulls the trigger. It was painful to read because that is how I felt at one time. Tony is angry, depressed, and just goes through the motions of living. The author could have been writing about my life. I suppose if you have never felt that way, this book is not for you. But for me it was one of the best books I ever read. Its central themes are simple enough - take responsibility and then take control of your life. After Tony learns how to bed down just about any woman he wants he learns that sexual exploits do not bring happiness. He then learns, the hard way, to deal with people from the heart. Even more importantly, he learns how to deal with himself from the heart.

I almost didn't get this book because of some of the negative reviews. Thankfully, I took a chance. To read this book taught me that I am not alone in my struggle. It made me laugh at times, and at times it was painful to read because it reminded me of the pain I carry. It has given me hope and motivation. I even e-mailed the author with some questions and he gracefully replied.

Being a modern day warrior is not about being a tough macho dude who always gets what he wants. Its about dealing with people from a place of power, but also compassion. If you don't share these beliefs the book is not for you.

Summary: Thumbs Up
Review: I bought this book based on the reviews by other readers and I was sorry I did. I have lost faith in the reader's review system on Amazon. This book is a waste of ink and trees. I have to give this book a 1 star only because it's the least amount of stars that I must give.

This is the author's first attempt at writing and it shows. The psychotherapist turned fiction writer tries that to cover everything from how to get over the fear of women to how to invest in the stock market. I guess the author was thinking that if all subjects that were men are interested in are covered, it should impress a reader enough to give the book 5 stars.

The author's suggestion to visit a strip club to get over your fear of women is ludicrous. This practice will only want to view a woman from a distance and never get close enough to have real intimacy with a woman. Why don't we all save the trip to the strip club and lose our fear of women by watching porn at home. This is a very sad piece of work.

I was going to resell my "book", but decided that I can't expose another human being to this work. I decided to trash it.

Summary: Disappointing
Review: I bought this book because of the excerpts I read on the author's website.

I should warn you that this book is far from being well written. Dialogues often sound phony, characters are incomplete, and the whole story lacks rhythm and plot.

The author is a professional hypnotherapist. It may be why the book is full of pop psychology and pseudo wisdom. By the way, the patronizing tone of the story quickly gets irritating. And the author has got a questionable approach of the concept of selfishness.

So, here is my advice : don't buy this book. I would be a waste of time, money, and, as Mr Regan would say, of energy.

Summary: Really Liked It
Review: I purchased this after reading the positive reviews. I FORCED myself to read the whole thing hoping that the book would redeem itself. It did not. This was a terrible book with no useful information. A total waste of time and money.

Summary: Really Liked It
Review: I really like this book. I found the story interesting as well as humorous. Its about a young guy who sees a therapist after getting divorced. The therapist turns out to be a bit of a nut who teaches his young patient everything from how to pick up girls to tips on playing the stock market. I found the parts of the book about 'reading' peoples eye movements to learn how they think fascinating. I have to agree with another reviewer that this book is basically about getting in control of your life. If this is what you want for yourself, I recommend the book.

Summary: Fantastic story
Review: I've read a few self help books and picked this up due to the ratings on this site. This was a great book, not as direct as a typical self help book simply because it's a story. If you want a good read and some motivation in your life, i think this would suit anyone just fine!

Summary: Very Impressed
Review: This book is an intriguing story of a troubled young-middle aged man and his therapist. One of the first things the therapist, Leo, teaches his patient, Tony, is how to be a Don Juan of women. The story, told with a great deal of humor, takes on unpredictable twists and turns as Tony masters his lessons. But this is only part of a story where the underlying theme is how to empower yourself and get what you want out of life. The thickening plot elements of sorcery and female witches adds to the suspense but does nothing to diminish the realism of the main character's life struggle. In the end, he grapples with the decision to end his life or continue his path as a warrior. Many people will find they will get from this book exactly what they are ready to receive.

Summary: a pleasure in all aspects of live
Review: This book, in short, is down to earth, motivating, and definately gave me a new outlook on life. To top it all off, it was almost simple to read - at first I thought the literary style was juvenile, but then I realized that the author simply wanted to make it so easy to read that you could understand everything he says!

A must have for those who are having difficulty gaining perspective on their lives.

Summary: What a great read.
Review: This was a really fun book to read. I read it in about 10 days and that's an accomplishment for me because I'm a busy guy. This book really does add some confidence in yourself, and the messages the book gives throughout the book got me thinking :)
The character development was well done but the near the end of the book, the story seems rushed. I still highly recommend this book.
