Summary: Still Futurism
Review: A new twist to an old lie. This book will keep you from seeing the truth. The book is full of some truth and a lot of error. I do not recommend it.

Summary: It Changed My Life
Review: Firstly, there are a few points posed by Rood that I disagree with. Always the case where eschatology is involved. BUT -- This book is a fresh examination of that topic (End Times) and is about much more than just the "rapture" issue. It's a frank, Bible-based, and long overdue look at the real nature of God and His Son: What His children can expect of Him, what He expects of them, and how they should go about conducting their lives ESPECIALLY IN THESE END TIMES. This book was powerful enough to talk me out of my 45 year old "pre-trib rapturist" position. Not a change to be easily made (except with God's leading??). I believe I was exposed to Rood's teaching as a direct answer to prayer, in a quest for Truth and a closer relationship to God. Maybe part of a general movement among God's people in these times, as Rood alludes to. Truly, my life has changed and I've never been so close to the Father. A very powerful book, on the short list under the Bible and a rare other few.

Summary: Read & Then Study The Prophecies For Yourself.
Review: I can but agree with most of the reviewers here.

Ultimately, if Michael Rood is wrong in his interpretation about the Rapture, and the Rapture occurs either pre or mid-tribulation, then true Christian believers have nothing to lose. If the author is right however, and the Rapture occurs towards the end of the Tribulation, then Christians everywhere owe it to themselves to have been made aware of his interpretation.

Some of what the author covers in relation to Biblical prophecy and it's interpretation to date has bothered me previously. His coverage of such clarifies a number of matters for me personally.

I can only recommend this book to ALL scholars and Christians who are seeking the truth surrounding Biblical Prophecy, the Rapture and the return of Our Lord Jesus. We must all be accountable to search the Scriptures ourselves whilst seeking prayerful insight to the truth.

I would hate not to have read this book. Being prepared, in full possession of the facts so that we are not going to be deceived in that day is essential. If you read this book and disagree with the message and interpretation, then that is a matter for the individual. But we do really owe it to ourselves to be aware of what the author is saying here.

Summary: Finally, someone makes sense about the "Rapture"
Review: I didn't the read the Bible until I was 47. I had never heard of the Rapture as I had been in a denomination that didn't use that language and never talked about the Book of Revelation. After personally meeting Jesus Christ and asking him to be my personal Lord and Savior, an entire new world opened to me. I began a quest searching for the truth as I realized I had been a victim of man's interpretation of Scripture. I had been lulled into a false comfort zone that if I followed certain rules and performed certain rituals at given times I would go to heaven. However, it didn't make sense to me. When I first heard of the Rapture it seemed like a fantasy to me as no where in my intensive study of scripture did I find any references indicating that Jesus would re-appear before the 7th trump. The Mystery of Iniquity is the clearest explanation of eschatological scripture I have found in my search. It reinforced my personal study that we must be prepared to stay faithful to Jesus until the end, in fact, Jesus himself says "and you will be hated by all because of my nanme. But the one who endures to the end will be saved" (Mt 10:22). It is strong delusion to believe that the Christian will be spared any of Satan's wrath in the days to come. This should be mandatory reading for all Christians as we approach these perilous times. It is refreshing and liberating from the complacency of these days. It is a call to action. "Let anyone who has an earlisten to what the Spirit is saying to the churches". (Rev 2:7, 11, 17, 29, 3: 6, 13, 22.

Summary: Lifetime (39 yrs.) of bookcollecting, selling and READING
Review: I rarely underline/highlight the books I read, mainly Non-Fiction, and have quite a library myself thanks to working as a used book dealer. Many sit on my shelves going unread...(so many books, so little time)...this book is the exception. I've hi-lighted my favorite parts that i want to read and re-read, to let it sink in. I only mark in books I plan on getting more copies of, to give away/loan to friends and family. I've read escatalogical books since I was 10 or so, and few books have impacted me like The Mystery of Iniquity. Upon reading this book I was blown away/thrown for a loop. Aside from the Holy Bible, it's one of the best I've ever read! Get several copies!!! Nuff said.

Summary: Insightful look into the deception the Church is in.
Review: Michael Rood has composed a work which has been long overdue. While the Christian church lumbers along with its eyes half shut, the deception of Satan, begun during the 1st century of the church, continues to develope and flourish. Many believers expect to be snatched into heaven before the earth-shaking events, of which the events of Sept 11 was only a glimpse, rocks our world. We would all do well to read and consider the message of The Mystery of Iniquity.
This is a MUST read for anyone who wants to know the truth about biblical prophesy as it relates to the condition of our world today. But, if you are content and comfortable with the status quo, and don't want your private views about the future challenged, find some other book that will speak the soft words you want to hear. Hooray for Michael Rood's enlightening treatise, The Mystery of Iniquity.

Summary: The Honest Biblical Truth
Review: Praise the Lord! Someone is willing to speak the truth and expose the false teachings that our fathers have passed down to us. No wonder the modern church is so weak and ineffective. I highly recommend this superb book be read by the mature Christian who is not afraid to discover the real truth. Thank you Michael Rood.

Summary: Finally the TRUTH!
Review: Rood explains in detail the TRUTH about the Lord's return and he comes from a Hebrew perspective which is very important since Jesus was a Jew. The culture of Jews reveals so much of the mystery which Paul in his epistles talks about. Furthermore I am glad to see someone stepping out on faith in Christ and showing the courage to take a unpopular stand when so much of the Evangelical community believes in the lie of Pre-Tribulation Rapture. After all anyone who reads the Bible from cover to cover and his a true Christian with the Holy Spirit living in him/her they could see that Christ as well as Paul and Peter and John point to one return of Christ not two. I am saddened that many blindly believe the teaching built on one verse in 1 Thess 4 which is taken out of context and an idea that didn't come around until about 150 years ago. You are always supposed to interpret scripture with scripture and within the context of the whole book and culture and who it was written to. Many fail to do that and take two words "caught up" and build a doctrine on it. I encourage anyone who is a Christian and wants to know the truth to pray sincerely ask God to reveal the Truth to them. After all Jesus said that those who worship God must worship Him in Spirit and in TRUTH! This is a Great Book to get the Truth!
