Brenda doesn't just explain concepts like self-martyrdom, self-sacrifice and self-care, she illustrates them clearly and gives practical exercises by which the reader can apply the truth. If you are tired of trying to live up to what others are expecting from you, the truth in this book will refresh your dry spirit and refocus your mind on God's will for women.

Brenda Waggoner gives context and caring counsel to women at all levels of spiritual maturity, leading them to wholeness and toward a more fulfilling spirituality that allows them to experience God, express their gifts and use their talents for the building up of the whole body of Christ.
