Rating: Summary: A Very Helpful Book for the Wife Review: As the Christian wife of a non-Christian man, I found this book to be particularly helpful. Most of the similar books on this subject are presented from the wife's perspective only. This book discusses how the husband feels when his wife becomes a believer. The author based his writing on surveys of his own congregation. It is mostly anecdotal, so read it as a set of personal testimonies. It is unfortunate that another reviewer was so offended by the book. He is obviously not part of the intended audience--which is Christian women who are married to non-believers. The main point of the book is that God loves us all equally, no matter what our believer status may be. The church should not treat non-believers as second-class citizens (or their believing spouses either). I would recommend this book to a Christian friend who is feeling pain about her non-believer husband.
Rating: Summary: The husband doesn't need help Review: I scanned this book. The entire theme is based on the presumption the husband needs to find jesus and the wife just needs to endure. I read on to see how wives could cope with this. It all leads on to say how the wife can pray to god, how the husband challenges her about church ideas and what she can do to get her husband to do to hopefully find god. Maybe the husbands realize they can't find god because they can't find Santa, both mythical characters. Maybe Michael should have counter-balanced the book with some positive aspects of a divided house. My wife actually has a dear friend who thinks the earth is 6000 years old. Do I belittle her or her friend? No, I point out if they go near this type of thinking that science isn't perfect, but carbon-dating isn't off by 4 billion years. Michael presumes that a wife with faith is a good thing. He's fine there, but to say that having a husband that has investigated mythology and simply realizes that jehovah and jesus are in that category isn't a good thing is why is book sells to women who have been duped. This book is just a gender based plea to prostelytize. Wives if your atheist husband treats you well he believes in something better than god, he believes in you.
Rating: Summary: I gave a honest review, someone is whining Review: My review was right on. However, someone has been harassing me about my reviews for awhile. Every geological institute would laugh at the idea that the earth was reconstructed 6000 years ago. 6000 years came from the infallible church via Bishop Usher. Only theist men are incomplete enough to need to believe in Santa, god or the tooth fairy. My review is hardly hellbent since hell doesn't exist. On to my next harassment by Mr. Christian himself.

Rating: Summary: Living for JESUS can make you a better spouse! Review: Reviewers: The earth is more than 6000 years old! However, sceptics are mislead. The earth could be millions of years old. At that time, the dateless past, the earth was created perfect by GOD. Some time down the line, Satan sinned/fell , so GOD destroyed/judged it. Then 6000 or so years ago, God reformed/restructured the earth making it liveable. Errors found in the bible by sceptics/atheist are precieved errors. They need to know hebrew and be true students of the BIBLE- But, why the first reviewer had to add all that nothing in his review ,is beyond me? He seems hellbent on fighting the existence of GOD rather than give a review! I applaud this book and it's premise. Without Jesus, we are incomplete and broken. Therefore, what can we offer to a relationship; and also keep ourselves from eventually damaging it....Jesus can make us whole, therefore we can give our best to our spouse. The message is inspiring and beautiful.
