Review: I purchased this CD because I had been so impressed with the Bible Tutor CD published by the same company. It is a wonderful reference tool. You can search by time period or geography. Key figures from every period are highlighted,along with key events and places. The CD is very easy to use, and provides multiple links to move easily through the vast information provided. There are a number of self tests that enable you to test your knowledge of church history with links to find out what you didn't know. For anyone wishing to know more about the history of the Christian church, this would be an invaluable resource.

Review: Wow. So much content -- and available cheaply and electronically. I was blown away that someone has condensed the content of three pretty-thick church history courses onto a CD-ROM. I like the fact that you can get the big-picture overview, and then easily drill-down to grab more specifics about the topics that interest you. Most helpful is the author's wisdom in breaking out of outdated frameworks to present the Spirit's work post-Reformation by noting the eye-popping global expansion of the church. The CD is a fantastic way to glean the benefits of taking three seminary courses without having to leave your family room.
