Summary: Finally a user friendly Commentary for Children
Review: After searching for months for a book that my son could independently pick up on his own and enable him to discuss points of the weekly parsha at the Friday night table I found it in "Tell it from the Torah". It covers the material in depth in a way easily understood by children (8-13), gives stories of the sages (from Pirkei Avot) in connection with the parsha, gematria, and humorous anecdotes. Also wonderful is the connection with the Haftorah. This is a great tool for kids to come up with their own Devar Torah.

Summary: a worthwhile purchase
Review: I had been searching for a book which I felt was suitable for my 9 yr old. I found most bible books had a christian bent, which was not my desire. Not only was this book on an appropriate level for my son, it kept his interest, which is half the battle
