Challenge of a Liberal Faith

Summary: A great introduction to Unitarianism-Universalism.
Review: This book provides lots of interesting information for those interested in exploring the historical antecedents of the U-U church (as far back as 200-300 a.d., but mainly dating back to 16th century Europe). It also contains a relatively brief, but thoughtful, summation of U-U beliefs. This interesting faith, whose influence on American society has been far greater than its numbers would suggest, is worth exploring for anyone who is more of a spiritual seeker than a religious dogmatist. They believe in providing a welcoming space in which anyone can explore his or her personal religious/spirtual path. I wish this book were more easily available; I just happened to find an old copy in a used book store.
