Summary: Glad I Got It Used
Review: I am/was a big fan of Lynn Andrews, especially her earlier works. But now it seems like she keeps putting out new stuff, no matter what the quality, just to keep the money flowing. This book could have been so good. The idea is that there is a little selection to read each day of the year that you can meditate on. The introduction claims they are attuned to the seasons but I don't see it. Each selection is not new but is actually a passage from one of Andrews' previous books. This still could have worked but there seems to be little thought put into what passages were chosen. It feels like someone just flipped through a book, randomly stuck a finger in, and whatever was landed on got added. Thoughts that may have been very insightful in context, often seem strange and empty when sorted out this way.

I got this pretty cheap at a used bookstore, yet I still feel like I was mildly ripped off. Maybe if it was only $1 or less I would feel it worth the price. Oddly, the most satisfaction I get out of it comes from it completing my collection of Andrews' works on my shelf.

Summary: Lynn V. Andrews is Marvelous!
Review: What a lovely and inspiriational find! I have heard many things about this author, and I am very pleased to say that I am definitely a new fan! I have a lot of catching up to do, I am told I should start at the beginning, with her 1st book, Medicine Woman, it apparently is the history of how Lynn got to where she is now.Walk In Balance is highly recommended!
