Summary: A brilliant, evocative and refreshing work on Stones!
Review: After answering the call of the sacred stone spirits themselves, we found ourselves in communication with the two brilliant beings behind this multidimensional work. Naturally, after realizing the scope of the work Marilyn and Tohmas Twintreess are engaged in and the exquisite stone beings they have, we were curious to read their book. We have likely read nearly every book in print on the subject of crystals and their spiritual dimensions, but this work is truly above and beyond anything we've ever read before. It was clear that this work was produced through a loving communion with the stones themselves, a work from the heart and spirit vs. one created within the mind alone. Like Marilyn and Tohmas themselves, this work comes from a great alignment with the divine around and within all of life. This work is unique in that it discusses stones that have been found nowhere else and shares so many different ways these stones can teach, guide and nurture us. After working with stones for over a decade, they even shared some that we've never heard of before!!! Their information resonates deeply and the stories of the stones themselves are well worth the price of the book alone! Also of great interest is the "combination section" at the back of their book. They give brilliant and magical equations of stonespirit for people to work with in so many different ways. This could have been an entirely separate volume altogether, so consider that you're really getting two books in one. We can hardly wait for the second volume to come out - another step forward in putting us in touch with the sacred stone beings and the beauty of divinity that can be held close in each breath. This book is a perfect present for anyone that loves stones, whether they have just started out or have long standing relationships with crystals and stones. Summary: THE BEST VIBRATION/GEMSTONE BOOK IN PRINT!!!!!
Review: As someone who works with the vibrations/energies/ and beauty of gemstones, I have read many books in this area. I think that the Twintreess' book "STONES ALIVE" is one of the best books out there. Not only does it give information on how the mineral in formed and where it can be found, but unlike other authors who write about the vibration or energy of a stone the Twintress are the "real deal" because they have given the stones their voice. The stones themselves tell about their energy and their purpose for being on this planet. The stone stories from others who have used/worn/or come across a certain stone are truly interesting to read and gets the reader excited about entering the mineral kingdom and having these experiences for themselves. WAY TO GO! IT'S ABOUT TIME THAT SOMEONE ACTUALLY LISTENED TO THE STONES AND LET THE STONES TELL THEIR STORY. I LOVED THE BOOK AND USE IT OFTEN!!!

Summary: CONNECT WITH THIS BOOK!!!!!!!
Review: Fellow Tribespeople! This book really delivers...i get new alignment help every time i read even a bit of it. Yesterday i spent an hour and a half or so reading it and seeking some inspiration and stone knowledge...(hadn't really sat with it for many moons)and today; a person i'd never met before spontaneously,unsolicited; gave me a beautiful unbroken Geode-Core....with a little Crystalline-Curtained window, and door. Nobody had given me a rock for a WHILE...
Hmmmmmmmmmmm...... Anyone actually reading the book can glean quite a bit of "Hard Science" from it...but anyone approaching it with a shirt stuffed with EGO had best stick with their Mensatites... Just as it is with Life...a lot of what is really going on in it seems to be working on subtle levels...
As Lao Tzu said..."without that Laugh,
it wouldn't be the Tao!"
This is a very valuable resource book,and a quirky re-Creational read...Yes; a bit of suspension of disbelief might come in handy,
and isn't that a little True of Specifically the very best things in Life? Who was it said "unless you become as these little ones..." ? Anyway....It Leaps!

Review: Here is a book that is truly a gift from the stones of Earth, as their individual stories and qualities unfold between these pages. "Stones Alive!" gives the reader all the information usually found in books about stones - and more. Each stone in this book comes with stone qualities and attributes, integration information, affirmation support, how it aligns the electrical body, uses for the New Millennium, a special Stone Story--as told by the stones to Twintreess--and a quote from each stone. Sprinkled throughout are stories from the authors and their special friends about personal experiences with individual stones. "Look at my magnificant, inner fire. That is what you look like when you remember your spirit." Opal says to us. The happy." The stones are listed both alphabetically and, in a wondrous section, stone combinations are compiled under what ails you, such as "Confusion into Focus" (Green Garnet, Mica, Smoky Quartz, and Larimar) or "Connecting to your Guides" (Galena, Lapis Lazuli, Amethyst). The stones combination section also includes messages from the stones, affirmations, and tools for manifestation. We're off to try the "Crystal Pleiadean Pyramid Alignment" combination. "Stones Alive!" is a book to treasure and one we're keeping tucked under our pillow for bedtime reading, in keeping with Twintreess style, this book is credible, honest and gives us a glimpse of how to access the fifth dimension. It's refreshing, fun to read, packed with information and filled with Light energy. Thank you, Twintreess! Thank you, stones! We're so glad you're alive

Summary: Enlightening and insightful
Review: I have thoroughly enjoyed studying Stones Alive and have discovered stones I never knew existed. Also, enjoyed the combination sections at the end. There's only 3 things I find missing in this great book: pictures of the stones; whether or not they are projective or receptive and information on where interested parties, such as myself, could purchase them. Otherwise, it's wonderful. Hope to see more from these authors on gemstones in the future.

Review: I'm a long-time metaphysicalist and a collector of mineral specimens. I regret wasting the money on this book which is more New Age puffery than a serious book on either metaphysics or crystals or any combination of the two. It is indeed imaginative but not much else. A far better investment would be "Crystal Power, Crystal Healing" by Michael Gienger, ISBN0-7137-2677-6.

Summary: A Very Full Book!!
Review: The coolest thing about this book is that besides the more "regular" information about stones like their composition and such, they let us hear from the stones themselves!! I know that like me, many people are attracted to stones for their beauty as well as their healing properties. The information that is usually presented in books about how they help us heal has been mostly from peoples experiences with the stones. That is wonderful but it is so delightfull to hear what the stones feel they have to offer us. There is so much love coming from these pages, it is just a delight!! If you are like me and have a lot of books on stones but want something deeper and more fullfilling, get this book. You will love it!!

Review: This book is written with sensitivity, respect and a real love for the minerals spoken about. Clearly the authors have a deep connection to the earth and it's gifts and know what they are talking about. I learned more about each stone from this book than I have from any other stone/mineral book. Highly recommended.

Review: What a great opportunity, to get to share about our best selling book! The name, "Stones Alive" is so appropriate. We sell all kinds of stones in our store, and because our customers are often very well informed about stones from more conventional books, we take them to "Stones Alive" to expand their minds and give them another "wow" experience. The thing that seems to work so well is that the information in this book ranges from the basic such as origin and composition of the stones to the very sublime like "affirmations of support" and "stone stories". The information is sure to meet you on at least one of the many levels. One would have to be "stone hard" (heh, heh) not to be touched at a deep level by this very informational and inspirational book. The authors have to be very beautiful creatures, it comes through on every page. Many thanks!!
