Rating: 5 stars
Summary: An Excellent Book
Review:

...This book is mediations on the 22 paths of the Tree ofLife from the Qabbala as represented by the 22 Tarot trumps. Itincludes very nice full color plates of the tarot trumps. Eachmeditation is usually about 3 pages long followed by 2 pages ofcommentary.

This book I think is unlikely to appeal to anyone whodoesn't already have at least a basic understanding of the Qabbala andthe Tarot (ie can you draw the tree of life and do you have the tarotattributions for the most part memorized) but is likely to be enjoyedby those who do.

Second verse from the meditation on Tsaddi (thestar):

Men think they seek me, But it is I who seek them, No otherseeker is there then myself, And when I find mine own, The pain ofquestioning is at an end. The fish graspeth the hook, Thinking tofind food, But the fisherman is the enjoyer of the meal.

First versefrom the mediation on Samekh (temperance):

I AM the support of allthat enter into existence. Upon me all depend. And I fail not. Thishave I declared unto thee in various ways, But listen now to my wordsagain.

Each mediatation is at least several verses long. Here is thebeginning of the commentary on Samekh:

SAMEKH, pronouncedsawmek. Transcribed as "S". The number 60. Meaning: Prop,Support. The Intelligence of Probation or Trial.

The commentary foreach path begins like this and then is followed by specific commentaryon some of the verses from the meditation.

An excellentbook. Recommended for any serious student.

Summary: To allow this book out of print is a sin against humanity.
Review: In this simple piece of work the human mind can grasp if not cultivate immortality.

Summary: an extraordinary and beautiful book
Review: These meditations on the tarot, are like looking into a deep and still pool, the whole sky is in there. Profoundly resonant.

Summary: To allow this book out of print is a sin against humanity.
Review: This is the most moving and spititual uplifting book I have had the good fortune to read. The work speaks in first person from each of the letters of the Hebrew alphabet; each commenting on its part in the process of creation. The prose is not only beautiful but also compliments any other reading on Kabbalah.
