Review: Simon Marsden is a photographer who travels throughout Europe, finding ancient castles and ruins and photographing them with a special technique that makes the photo look other-worldly. He believes in the supernatural and writes about the history and legends of each location. His writing style is engaging and he knows how to play up the frightening aspects of a gloomy castle or a long abandoned abbey or fortress. I have every one of his books and I love them all dearly. If you like to read about ancient haunted places and the legends surrounding them, then this book-ALL of his books-are for you!
