Rating: Summary: Never ceases to amaze me... Review: I have studied Kabbalah and Hermetecism for years with various institutions and sects, and this book is by far the most comprehensive and profound. This books deals with all of the various aspects of Tarot and Kabbalah and their relationship with each other and how it pertains to what the Hermetic Tradition would call: The Path to Adepthood. In my understanding, Kabbalah is the ancient mystical science of the Hebrews. Yet, upon reading this book and others that are drawn from the roots of Universal Gnosticism, I am finding Kabbalah to be a universal science that can be and should be applied to understanding the occult significance of any and all ancient religions. This book is good for beginners and advanced students of esotericism. I believe this because I have been studying for years and am still finding myself to be a beginner (as the profundity of Kabbalah is far beyond that of my comprehension). For beginners, read and reread, meditate on the significance of the placement of WORD of the author. I will not pretend that I am a scholar or adept of these sciences, but I know that this is the most valuable book on my shelf due to the nature, clarity, and profundity of the words within this book. I am inspired every time I conteplate the writings within this book. I invite anyone with interest in Kabbalah (or any mystical science for that matter) to read this book. This book clears the Kabbalastic Cob-Webs found within many other books that belongs to pseudo-Hermetic Gnostic offshoots.
Rating: Summary: The complete guide to the Path Review: Samael's Tarot & Kabbalah book is especially important for Gnostic students of the old and new generations. It contains wells of wisdom from the Master for us to learn about these mysteries and the truths they contain.
The sacred Tarot and the Hebrew Kabbalah are given in-depth and conclusive esoteric explainations and descriptions as well as excercises and teachings for students to experiment with in order to experience the great mysteries and realities.
Based on the author's personal research, investigation and experience, this great Masterwork is like a monument to knowledge itself. This edition contains extensive diagrams, pictures and illustrations.
As advanced of a book this is, I wholeheartedly recommend it to all human beings who wish to improve their spiritual life and their spiritual knowledge.
Rating: Summary: A Master Synthesis Review: The Kabbalah and Tarot are not things that need to lie in the heart of mystery. Other readings in to the Kabbalah may be erudite, but what is the point of that if we do not comprehend what is said? Here, with this book, you will comprehend.
Rating: Summary: Blows Away the Cobwebs Review: The study of the Kabbalah has become so popularized, yet most of the books and material that people study are simply repeating the same words over and over, with no real comprehension of where the knowledge has come from. Yet this book, like all the books written by Samael Aun Weor, comes like a flash of lightning, brilliantly revealing the underlying structure to all mystical knowledge. This is because it was written from experiential knowledge, not erudition. It expresses the essence of Gnosis: direct knowledge. I also recommend as a support for the study of this book that you visit gnostickabbalah.com.
Rating: Summary: A Magnum Opus in the Samael Gnostic series by Thelema Review: The Tarot, Tree of Life, Hebrew Alphabet, Numerology, ALCHEMY, Magic, and of course, Kabbalah... This book has been perhaps the most comprehensive study of Kabbalah ever written in our modern day. Finally it has been published for the first time in English for the public. Why? Because it is awe strikingly revolutionary, explicit, and precise. If you wish to enter into the mysteries of Alchemy and Kabbalah, this is the most comprehensive guide and map you can place your physical eyes upon. How did the anciect races understand and use the book of 22 chapters (the Tarot)? How do words and letters break down into numbers, exposing the objective inner meanings as it scientifically relates to the vibrations of the cosmic matrix? How does one develop the objective Sephiroth of the Tree of Life in Oneself? All these questions and more are answered between the covers of this book. When you read it, you may be shocked to find that Kabbalah is the one thread that weaves all the occult sciences, ancient religions and mystical practices together. The students of Esotericism (the secret path), must be Alchemists and Kabbalists so as not to fall into grave error. Read this book to learn the steps to do so.
Rating: Summary: Astonishing. Review: This book contains a practical wisdom that is beyond measure.
The essence and raw nectar of Qabballah is right here, completely unveiled and totally comprehensive.
The numerological summaries and illustrations unfold like a magnum opus for the soul, and putting the techniques in this book into practise have changed my life in ways I could not actually describe.
The mysterious realm of numbers and eternal symbols blossom in life and especially in dreams; to begin to understand them with the heart is crucial. This book contains the instructions.
I continue to study the works of Samael Aun Weor in complete astonishment, and I want to take this opportunity to encourage others to do the same. This work transcends all ethnic and religious barriers - the Gnosis of Aun Weor is absolutely unreligious or dogmatic. It is a work of true Gnosis because rather than preaching a belief system, it expounds a usable method of experiencing the divine...
Yes; the spirit is real; Heaven is real; Qabballah is REAL.
Absolutely, unequivocally, and wholeheartedly recommended to everyone.
Rating: Summary: A Revelation Review: This book explains the basic knowledge required in order to comprehend any aspect of the true path to the Self-realization of the Being. Every step of the way is mapped on the Kabbalah, thus to understand the Kabbalah is to understand the map. However, the public and popular Kabbalah is hugely distorted and it is necessary for sincere seekers to purify themselves of wrong concepts, as they threaten to take us from the path. This book outlines many principles that stand as foundations to all major religions and mystical traditions, and it provides to the student a lifetime of study and practice. This is not a book of theory: it is a book of practical guidance for real and living experiences in the creation of the soul.Chapters include: the 22 Major Arcana. The Tree of Life. Daath - Tantric Knowledge. The 56 Minor Arcana (first time in English). Kabbalalistic Numerology. A quote from the text: You who are searching for Initiation, you who read immensely, you who live fluttering from school to school, always searching, always longing, always sighing, tell me with sincerity... Have you awakened your Kundalini? Have you opened the Seven Churches of your spinal medulla? Have you incarnated the Lamb? Answer me, beloved reader, be sincere with your self. Put your hand on your heart and answer me with sincerity, are you Self-realized? Are you sure that with your theories you will convert yourself into a God? What have you achieved? What have you received with all your theories? One who wants to Self-realize needs the Revolution of the Consciousness: to die, to be born, and to sacrifice oneself. There exists a Revolution of the Consciousness when we decapitate the ego, the "I." There exists a Revolution of the Consciousness when we build the Solar Bodies. There exists a Revolution of the Consciousness when we incarnate the Being. Until that moment, we do not have a real existence.
Rating: Summary: The Initiatic Path Review: This book marked a turning point in my occult studies by making me aware that the wisdom of the Tarot as expressed in the Kabbalah is the foundation of the Western Esoteric Tradition and the path of modern initiation. Its value, therefore, can not be overstated for anyone seeking initiatic knowledge of this ancient tradition. Samael Aun Weor speaks from direct knowledge of these mysteries, revealing the superlative consciousness underlying this mystical path. Moreover, these gnostic teachings have helped me to understand the Kabbalah in a deep and comprehensive way - as a path to freedom; a path to union with the Innermost of my Being. The kabbalistic tradition had never before come alive for me and this book synthesized it in a powerful way. It gave me new eyes to see and a means to experience in a direct way the mysteries of life and death. What more could you ask for?
