Summary: More than just Unicorns
Review: Although many people who would buy this set may do so as a collectable because they love horses and unicorns, the cards themselves convey the symbolism of Tarot, and the unicorn designs will give the reader an attachment and personal connection to the cards, which is neccassary for deeper and more spiritual readings.

Summary: Mixed feelings
Review: As a collector of Tarot, I have seen many different interpretations of the cards and their meanings. I greatly enjoy the attempt this deck makes at some of the meanings of the cards. Some of the pictures are close to the best I have seen. However, other parts of the deck are lackluster in their attempt. It is also interesting to note than when the person couldn't find a significance that the unicorns would have, they just went ahead and added one into the background anyway. While I find some of the artwork to be fantastic, the overall effect is less than wonderful.

Summary: delightful - but inaccurate unicorns
Review: As an experienced, professional Tarot reader, I have found this pack to be a delight to work with and popular amongst my clients. However, I don't think the illustrator knew that the mythical unicorn should have cloven hooves and a tail which is more like a donkey's or a cow's tail, instead of horse hooves and tail! Apart from that inaccuracy, I find it inspirational and benevolent in every way.

Summary: Great deck, but difficult for a beginner
Review: I have been in love with this deck since I picked it up roughly 6 years ago. Some of the pictures are difficult to interpret (the 8 of Rods springs to mind) and others deviate from the more traditional meanings but I've found the cards to be VERY accutate. The artwork, while not as detailed as some decks, is beautiful in it's simplicity. If you are a beginning reader, have a deck like the Rider-Waite or Robin Wood Tarot available and take the time to compare the pictures. It will help A LOT! I've been doing this and have discovered much more in the cards than I noticed before.

Summary: Lost Symbols
Review: The unicorn is not always white. It surprises me that the pictures were so innacurate. Although not all unicorns have cloven hooves or lion's tails, not all of them look like horses. a more acurate version of this book would have been to use the different species of unicorns to display the tarot's signifigance. whether rider/waite or thoth based or whatever, you should not try to lose meaning based on the theme of the deck. it just makes me a little sad. The artwork is nice, but has little actual signifigance in the tarot. I do however use the deck. the illustrations are better than some other illustrations, and i dont really need the keys present in most decks, so since i like unicorns, i decided to use these ones to make it a little nicer. otherwise, for artwork, i would recommend one of the Dragon tarot decks, there is one i am thinking of but i dont remember what it is called, or the thoth deck for experienced readers

Summary: An okay deck
Review: This deck wasn't all that great. The pictures and symbols were pretty good. The meanings were too fuzzy. I wouldn't even reccommend this to an intermediate or advanced person. I guess it all depends on your style, but this was obviously not mine. I think that if a little bit more time and thought was given into this deck, it would have been a lot better.
