Summary: Astrology Through a Sylvia's Eyes...............
Review: -
I am a taurean. She Wrote so much Negative about Taueans in this book. How dare She Called us Boring & Stupid.I am Going to Write A Negative Review.

Then I Thought....Naaaa.....

Actually I like Sylvia very much & Liked this Book too...

What matters " more " than Sun Sign is Ascendent. If the persons Ascendent & Sun sign is same then the description will apply to him 100%.

Its true that Taureans are Boring,I know so many But again it depends on their Ascendent too.

Did somebody said they are Stubborn.Yes I am Stubborn & I love myself that way.

So guys Please Show her some Mercy. She is 'Psychic' not 'Astrolger'.

Summary: Comedic Look at Astrology from a Well-Known & Loved Psychic
Review: I am going to repeat a previous reviewer's words: this book is meant to be "light hearted". If you are serious about astrology, then this book is NOT for you!! This book simply touches on characteristics of the astrological signs, mainly from Sylvia's own personal experiences with them. I found most of what Sylvia said to be not only true, but often times hilarious. I shared this book with friends, and no one was disappointed. This book is truly written in Sylvia's style (blunt, to the point) and not everyone likes that. If you are a true Sylvia Brown fan, I recommend that you read this book. The only problem I had with this book was that it was too short!

Summary: Rude and Crude
Review: I have read several other books by Sylvia Brown. Some, like the Other Side and Back, were pretty good. The Angel book was weak, but this book, while she may have thought it was funny, I thought it was just downright rude and crude. She flat out says that Taurans are "stupid" and "boring". I suspect that perhaps only stupid and boring Taurans would consult with someone like her. Calling millions of people who happen to be Taurans "stupid and boring" is pretty crass. Her research must have been pretty limited and biased...obviously not scientific. Also (yes I am a Tauran) not all Taurans have thick necks, thank you very much Sylvia...I am tall and slim and have a rather "long slim" neck. I have a Ph.D. from a very reputable university, so I really doubt that I am "stupid". Also, I have many interests, and while someone like her may think I am stupid and boring, I have many friends who seem to really like me and seek consultation with me, as I am a psychologist. If anything was stupid and boring, it is this book. I didn't see ANYTHING about it as funny...just poor, biased, research on her part, trying to kick out another book to make money from people who may be true seekers...don't buy this one. I'm sending mine back for a refund!

Summary: Fan of Sylvia's...But Not of This Book
Review: I have to say that Sylvia Browne is a great author and a blessing to the literary community. But, her work "Astrology Through a Psychic's Eyes" fails to do justice to her writing abilities. The book is interesting, but I wouldn't say that it's a must-have. It's extremely short, offering an overview on the personalities of the different sun signs. Browne's sense of humor gives energy to the book, but even that isn't enough to pull it through. I read it in about an hour (probably less) and never looked at it again. I'd say that her assessment of an Aries (my sign) is only partially true to my personality, and I was disappointed that Sylvia couldn't come any closer to the truth than the sun sign profiles I've found on the internet. My recommendation: borrow the book from a friend or from the library; buying it definitely isn't worthwhile.

Summary: This book is meant to be light hearted and funny! :)
Review: I love this book!!! I have been "studying" astrology for about three years, and find this book to be very true.. assuming if you take somethings into context....

This book goes through every zodiac sign and explains certain, usually humerous, aspects of each sign. Hence, if one's AC is in Cap and one's sun sign is in Sag, then... you could read both signs and find some qualities of both signs in you ( you can also take into account other sign influences - for the more advanced astrologers ;O ).

THIS BOOK ISN'T MEANT TO TEACH YOU ABOUT ASTROLOGY IN DEPTH. It is for astrology lovers in general who want a laugh. I wish there were more humerous books about astrology on the market like this one.

Thanks for reading everyone!

Summary: No Astrology advice here
Review: I was very disappointed in this book. It should have been entitled " A humourous view of astrology through a psychic's eyes" She clearly is poking fun but I found it rather mean-spirited. For example: see her take on those born under the sign of Taurus. (MEOWWWW) Sylvia those claws you have are becoming longer with the more money you make!

Summary: Be careful
Review: She may be a psychic, but she misses on some basic fundamentals of astrology, like knowing the elements of each Sun Sign. . . Not for serious students of astrology.
