Rating: Summary: Impressions from a health practioner! Review: I purchased this book and began the exercises about four weeks ago. I am up to twelve repetition on each of the five rites. I am overweight but otherwise in good health. I work out with weights and do aerobics and stretches at least three to four days a week and have done so for years. I was a bit skeptical about the claims made in this little book, but a few days after I started to do the rites I noted that my urine turned very dark and smelled bad. I noticed a burning sensation with each urination. I had not finished reading the entire book and did not relate these symptoms to the exercises. Then much to my surprise when I read the last section of the book it stated that these symptoms can occur as the body detoxifies. I was astonished. I feel a little light headed at times from the spinning so I'm going to slow the rate that I spin around down for a time. I do feel like I am already sleeping better and have increased energy levels as evidenced by the increase in my daily productivity both at home and the clinic. I am excited to see what will happen in two or three months from now. I do not know much about yoga or Indian healing arts, but I certainly feel I on to something. I will keep you updated. Tano E. Rating: Summary: No results Review: I wonder were those positives reviews come from...I've practiced the 5 rites for 2 years now 21 times a day, hardly ever skipping a day, but have not noticed any change..I don't look any younger than other people my age.. Not really motivating to keep on practicing the 5 rites... How come the seem to work miracles for others but dont produce any results for me??????????
Rating: Summary: Highly positive results from the five Tibetan exercises Review: One of my hatha yoga students kindly gave me a copy of book 1 as a gift. A bit skeptical, I started to read it and was charmed by the story, intrigued as to whether the exercises would work. I gave it a try and even in the first week was amazed at the results. I am now up to doing the recommended 21 reps of each of the 5 positions. I have almost boundless energy, look 10 years younger according to my colleagues, feel healthier than I have in years, sleep more deeply at night. Without even trying to, I have lost nearly 10 pounds: the exercises seem to balance or curb your appetite. I am not as hungry, yet the smaller portions I eat seem tastier to me. My yoga students are very enthusiastic about the 5 Rites. I get daily requests for this class. I have since bought book 2 and like it even more because of all the detailed explanations contained therein. I have recommended the books to at least a dozen friends and colleagues. Even my significant other is starting to do the 5 Rites and has never felt healthier. In short, highly recommended. Inti
Rating: Summary: Sacred secret mystery??? Not. Review: The mysterious sacred secret 5 Tibetan rites can be freely found illustrated with complete instructions on many websites. I suggest you try them for a month and if you're still doing them at the end of that time, and wish to learn more consider buying this book. Start with 3-5 repetitions of each, and add 2 reps per week up to the maximum of 21. Or alternatively, do 20 minutes of yoga or pilates or aerobics or rebounding or weight training each morniing and you will probably get the same or better results.
Rating: Summary: Good Beginning but there is more Review: This book is a good beginning to eternal youth, to gain true immortality you need to do other things. This book will give you some self-discipline which most people sorely lack. Most important tho seldom mentioned in reviews is the step on abstinence from sex. This falls in line with the teachings of the book- The Resurrected Dead Now Immortal Live Among Us; A Manual for Immortality- which says that to gain true physical immortality you have to let go of lust and sex. The Fountain of Youth book makes a good companion to the other book and I recommend Fountain of Youth for anyone seeking to gain longevity which is needed in order to gain immortality. The Fountain of Youth book has been around since the 1980's and I am glad it is finally getting good recognition. Perhaps we are now catching up to what many spiritual adepts have known for centuries.
