Review: My third child recieved this book as a baby gift. I thought the book would be a special "no touch" book with the beautiful pictures. I had no idea that my 14 month old would absolutely adore this book. She gets this book over any other book and sits on the bed and points to all the babies. This "no touch" book as turned into a book that has been looked at with lots of love.

Summary: Wishing and Hoping
Review: This book seems to have a good intention, but it sadly misses the mark. A wonderful collection of historical images, mixed with wishful thinking. Verses are articulated as prayers (may, let), which only serve to point out this book's greatest omission: the object of prayer, who is Creator God himself, who graciously fashioned our precious little ones. Without glorifying the Giver of Life, these thoughts and wishes just evaporate into thin air.

Summary: Meaningful gift to receive and give
Review: This book was a gift to my first born from her Godparents and I loved it then. Recently I gave birth to my son and wanted to read the book again (I have this book tucked away as a special book to share with my daughter when she's older) and was so deeply touched by it. I will give this gift to all my friends and family who have babies, since it's meant so much to me. I want to share the joy. This book really does convey the specialness of infants in a way I haven't experienced before.
