Summary: Quirky Hoodoo Text
Review: "Spiritual Cleansing: A Handbook of Psychic Protection" is a quirky little text that seems to be a throw back to earlier eras rather than a contemporary work. "Spiritual Cleansing" fits in well with the older eclectic hoodoo texts and because of that it will be of interest to students of hoodoo, as long as it is not taken literally. The book is idiosyncratic and contains some flat-out fallacies, still it can be appreciated as a curiousity along with other metaphysical, alchemist and spiritual texts of long ago--nothing more or less.

Summary: Good book but...
Review: I bought this book without really hearing anything about it. I am glad to have done so. The only thing I realy didn't care for was the author's writing style. He seems a bit one sided in the way he presents information. All in all this is probably one of the better books out there.

Summary: Wish I had found you years ago
Review: I really wish I had come across all of the books by this author several years ago. Then Amazon wouldn't quite have as much of my money as they do!There is a clarity and a delightful lack of the condescension that one so often finds in many authors writing in this genre today. His writing style is fluid and the instructions and cautions are presented in a simple and clearly stated manner. I have 6 of his books now and, I've just discovered a couple titles that I don't have already so Amazon will be getting some more money.

Summary: The Spiritual Cleaning Basics - Land of Kam
Review: It amazes me to see how so many people who claim to be spiritual no nothing about spiritual cleaning. Spiritual cleaning has been a practiced used by all cultures and all people around the world for thousands of years. This is why it amazes me because there are all kinds of spiritual cleansings that exist and some of the most popular ones are listed in the bible. The author does an excellent job discussing the basics of how to do a spiritual cleaning. He covers some of the traditional practices from his own country as well as in the New World, such as the use of the egg for cleansing. (Which has been used all throughout the world). This is a greater starter book in understanding the metaphysics regarding spiritual cleaning.

Summary: A guide to practices of the Balkans
Review: One can't place this book out of it's own context - it ain't written based on the Western tradition, where everything tends to be categorized by definitions and "rules", rather on the contrary. That's what makes it an excellent book of the traditions of Eastern Europe and there's really few of it's like out there. You have to buy "Spiritual Cleansing" if you're at least a little bit interested of the practices from that part of the world - rigidly minded people: don't bother...

Review: Spiritual Cleansing is a book I often recommend to my clients. I do intuitive readings and really have benefitted from many of the recipes that Draja provides in this intriguing book. Psychic self defense is an art form in itself requiring not just physical ingriedients to make it work effectively but ones intent as well. The author provides many different ways to go about clearing our living spaces, warding off Malochia (the evil eye), etc. The bath recipes are wonderful as well. Summary: Good information for any one
Review: This book is a great refrence to diffrent ways to protect your self from unintentional phychic attacks. The evil eye and genreal negative vibrations are given quick remidies. He went breifly over phycic vampires and "black" magicians. I found his idea of some one being controlled was very acurate. Every one always thinks it is what they want to do. A must for the magicaly minded and just plan any one with a mind.
