Rating: Summary: To believe in UFO's or Not to Believe Review: . . To believe in UFO's or not to Believe? And, if you believe, what can you believe? There are many good UFO books that are very well researched, and full of facts and information and photos. So much so that it is difficult to dismiss UFO's regardless of our underlying beliefs. But, most of the reports and concepts of UFO's cannot fit with the basic principles of physics -which are the same throughout the universe. Most other books fail to research and offer support in this area rendering their claims less than believable. What is different and exceptionally interesting and valuable about this book is that it takes a 180 degree turn to review this information from a completely different paradigm - UFO's could be from an alternative dimension. From this multi-dimensional vantage point, many of the odd facts, and abduction and other reports on UFO's fit together better and are more easily accepted. It also touches upon some of the laws of physics to show why these laws are at issue and therefore must be dealt with. Going a step further, Missler and Eastman then review ancient passages in an attempt to determine if this multi-dimensional paradigm can fit with Jewish, or Christian scriptural beliefs. It appears that their research really pays off well with a different paradigm that supports all of the disparate and anomalous UFO reports. Of course there have been many speculations regarding various UFO reports, and in turn, Missler/Eastman do make certain leaps in possible interpretations of come biblical passages (which they readily identify as such). But, overall, the paradigm seems to have greater footing than any other UFO model I have read about. From this book emerges the following: we cannot explain away UFO's - there is just too many reports that cannot be explained; and, most UFO reports do not fit with the principles of physics as we know them.; therefore an alternative paradigm is required in order to better understand UFO phenomena. The Missler / Eastman paradigm seems to best pull the facts together as we believe we know them. Note for New Agers: Don't avoid this book, or be afraid of it because it concludes with a Christian perspective on UFO. The book is not steeped in "hell fire and brimstone" or sermons. Rather, it is a serious book that takes a deep look at anomalous and challenging UFO phenomena. I would be interested in hearing from others where they objectively see the flaws of this model, as well as what model fits better.
Rating: Summary: Best single Book on the UFO phenomna!!!!!! Review: Alien Encounters is the single best book on the UFO Phenomena I have ever read, and I have read at least 100 books on the subject (hyek's, Valle's, Hopkins, Striber's etc.,). All aspects of the UFO Phenomena are covered, from encounters of the 1st, 2ed, 3ed and 4th kind; to an examination of the History of the Phenomena; to what the Bible has to say about the subject. I don't want to get into the conclusions that Missler and Eastman reach, But what I do what to say is if you are interested in the UFO Phenomena, get this book: if you have seen a UFO, get this Book: If you believe you have been abducted, get this book: Also all Christians should read this book. Let me just say we all need to get educated about what may be a coming gobel deception and the cause of the coming apostey.
Rating: Summary: Give Me A Break Review: Believe me, your whole concept of UFOs & Aliens will change. You want to know what are they, what is their agenda and why do they abuct? You will get all your answers in this book. A MUST READ!!!
Rating: Summary: Finally; the truth about Aliens and UFO's Review: Chuck Missler and Mark Eastman have finally exposed the truth about Alien Abductions and UFO activity. They tell you whom the Aliens are, where they came from, and what they are doing here, and it's not pretty. I have read several books on the subject and this one has taken me to a higher level of understanding and knowledge on the subject. The authors back up everything they say with Biblical Prophecies and truth and it becomes very clear. I am a man of few words, but let me just say this book will clear up any misconceptions and doubts about the subject of Aliens and UFO's.
Rating: Summary: attack on dispensationalism Review: Chuck Missler's insight into the scriptures is incredible. For years I drove around town with Chuck Missler tapes in my car. I've read and studied the Bible avidly since I became a Christian in 1977. I did not need Chuck's input to ponder the connection between the UFO phenomena, alien abductions, the New Age etc. to realize Satan was up to something big. I knew from the bible that a great deception was going to take place so that people would believe a lie. Listening to Art Bell, (I like to see what the enemy is up to) confirms that there are myriads of people that have been set up to accept an alien deliverance. They have an explanation as to what happened to millions of Christians. We've been relocated so that the New Age can be implemented without us fear mongers. Chuck Missler's book should be required reading for everyone who takes the Word of God literally and has not stolen God's promises to Israel for the Church and who is looking for that blessed hope, The Lord Jesus Christ, to take us out of here.
Rating: Summary: Finally the truth Review: Everybody knows that parts of the Bible have been hidden by the Illuminati and that Jesus arrived on a space ship, but there is a media conspiracy not to talk about it. Read this book and get the real story.
You will learn some very interesting things about Roswell, too.
God Bless.
Rating: Summary: It's about time someone wrote this book Review: For a number of years I have been researching the various subjects covered in this book as both a non-Christian and now a Christian and I'm glad someone finally put everything together under one cover and tied them up so neatly. Granted that the end of the book is a plea for non-Christians to see the light, and this fact seems to upset those that don't hold to that faith. However I have read many UFO-oriented New Age books that do the much the same and the outrage is absent. This seems rather hypocritical. Besides,if the authors are correct in their theory, then a decision to begin a relationship with Christ would be the logical decision, if nothing more than for self-preservation! As a serious student of the UFO subject, I found the author's research to be impeccable. Their conclusions are well founded and make sense when one puts all the pieces of the UFO/Alien puzzle together and truly and honestly examines the complete history of the UFO/alien abduction phenomenon. It certainly makes more sense than many of the other new age and secular theories concerning the agenda of our possible "alien" visitors based on their recorded and demonstrated behavior. My only complaint would be that too much important information was only lightly touched upon. There is a lot of information in here that could fill at least another volume of in-depth study. I highly recommend this book to everyone. And doing a little of your own research using the author's well documented sources wouldn't hurt!
Rating: Summary: Chuck and Mark hit a bullseye! Review: I admit, the implications in this book are too much to handle, and at first glance, it can seem like ridiculous speculation. BUT, I am very familiar with other teachings of Chuck Missler from the website www.khouse.org, and know for certain that he is entirely Biblical, born-again, and sincere. It is evident that God has chosen NOT to tell us a lot about angels and demons, but he has given us some very interesting pieces of info throughout the Bible, and Chuck and Mark have beautifully dovetailed these scriptures with other weird stuff from our present culture---and guess what---it all fits together into an end-times scenario that really makes sense! This book might be the vaccine that will alert and save thousands of skeptics when the end-times finally arrive. Someone once said, "a god small enough to fit inside your head is not big enough to meet your need" (or something like that). The message of this book is like this--a bit too much for my head, but I'm content with that. The conclusions are incredible, weird, and true (IMHO)---but so is the incarnation, the trinity, the atonement, the rapture, the resurrection, heaven and hell, etc. etc. I know it sounds like a Hollywood mix of Star Wars, The Matrix, and Men in Black, but hey, God is far more creative than that.... Get this book--you will want your skeptical friends to have a copy too.
Rating: Summary: JUST THE TRUTH Review: I have studied about UFO'S for years. The Biblical view is the most sound I have read. Who, what and where they are from, according to the Bible, Makes more sence then any other view I have studied. Fallen Angels makes a lot more sence then Aliens. The more you research what the Bible says on the topic the other views become more fantasy. Satan, of course, would rather you beleave in the Alien fantasy. I give this 5 stars due to I have studied other material relating to the same outcome, The biblical view. It tips the scale compared to other views.
Rating: Summary: Why can't I give this zero stars? Review: This book makes you think maybe the aliens people claim to see are the Biblical angels and demons written in the Bible. This book will make you wonder.
