Summary: The best there is
Review: This exlanation of the Qur'an is quite simply the best there is in the english language. Its beautiful, clear and made from the highest quality paper and printing. Its probably reflects the most traditional understanding of the Qur'an avaliable in one volume as well, with a somewhat sufiyya leaning. My only complaint is that it could have used more commentary, but i guess if you want tafsir get a book of tafsir and if you want a Qur'an translation get this book. By the way if anyone is looking for traditional tafsir, the best is the seven volume "Ma'arif al-Qur'an" which unfortuantely is not available from amazon but is from Islamic bookstores.

Review: This translation is the best quran translation to date. The only thing that it needs to work on is a better index and a little more commentary. Other than that, a great work.
