Summary: Poorly Written!
Review: I am a true believer in Sylvia Browne and her teachings. Her books have changed my life. However, I do not worship Sylvia - I worship our Mother and Father. I do owe a lot of thanks to Sylvia (as well as Francine and Raheim), because her books have helped me put into words what I have ALWAYS believed. This book has reinforced the fact that, after searching years for my true religion, I am Gnostic. Sylvia will tell you the facts, as well as tell you how to research the knowledge for yourself. Skeptics could not win an argument with Sylvia, because if their homework was done, they would know she researches (and tells you where to research) every statement she makes. This gem of a book discusses the Gnostic religion and the passionate, eternal search for knowledge of the truth. To be a Gnostic, one cannot be lazy - one "must research and validate." This book will help you in the search for truth and encourage you not to believe just anything your church or religion tells you to do or believe. Learn to think for yourself!

Summary: Sylvia Strikes Again
Review: I loved this book. Because of it I pray to Azna more and talk to my spirit guide more. I enjoyed reading about Nuvo, where my best friend is from.

Summary: So Good!
Review: I've read pretty much anything Sylvia Browne has ever written, and was starting to feel a little lost when I didn't quite like the second book in this series, finding it confusing and rushed...and all though I loved the first book in the series, I missed Sylvia's gentle sense of humor in both. With book 2 being a mess, though, I nearly considered not purchasing this book, despite my love of everything Sylvia has encouraged in finding one's self and seeking a loving relationship with God. I'm really glad I purchased it, since this book really helped change some of the way I saw things. You would have to have read some of her other works to understand a lot of this (but note- this is book 3 of a series, so you should start on book 1 or one of her other excellent writings), but since then I have I thoroughly enjoyed this piece! A lot of what she discussed about the Catholic Church helped put into words what I had been thinking all along, and I loved how she discussed Jesus and how sadly people twisted a loving Jesus into a religion that often through time was fear-based, and how that's wrong since you cannot fear God. Anyway, I definitely recommend this book and found many interesting thoughts to contemplate. And, as always, Sylvia's message was loving and inspiring and simple (as it should be)-love God, help others, and not worry and fear so much. But if you're new to the series, start on Book 1 or read The Other Side and Back, otherwise you will find it confusing! Happy reading :).

Note- as for the other review that said some comment about the book advertising her religion too much, the book is based on Sylvia's beliefs, including the tenets of the God-loving church she started, based on Gnostic christanity. So it shouldn't be an "advertisement" if she mentions her church, since one of the main themes of the series is about exploring Gnostic christianity.

Summary: Sylvia seems to be getting stale.
Review: In Sylvia's third book of her Journey of the Soul series I felt her message was really starting to get diluted. By time I finished this book I began to get the feeling that it was written just to sell more books. Much of it was information repeated from the other books, with a few more stories added from her own experience. It is also filled with countless meditations which all basically are used for the same purpose. To cleanse the soul, heal, and rid it of negativity. I get the feeling she is going to come out with a book of meditations which, once again will be gathered from those in this series. This will add to her pocket book nicely. But before you get the impression I think this is all about greed let me say that I agree with many of her tenants, which was why I continued to read her books. Some of these include the fact that God exists in all of us, we do not need an intermediary to reach God, and that we all create our own Hell on earth. Some of the inconsistancies I found in the book stand out like a sore thumb. For one, on page 120 she quotes Genesis 1:26 "Let Us make man in Our image, according to Our likeness." She uses this quote to support the idea that Mother God and Father God both exist, not just a male God. Thus the Our, and Us, in the quote. But then on page 122 she goes on to say "The Old Testament is a collection of teaching stories, but certainly not the word of God. So, my question is which way is it? Are we suppose to take this literal interpretation in Genesis as the Word of God? There is also a false statement on page 110 when she is refering to her church she says "This is the first time in 2000 years that we're merging a belief in reincarnation into Christianity." This is not true at all since Charles Fillmore, over 100 years ago became a co-founder of Unity faith which does indeed merge the two. A strange statement from a woman who claims to be such a student of Religions of various faiths. In conclusion I don't dismiss all she says but she is beginning to get a bit stale. It is a fairly good book if you are curius enough.

Summary: A Triumph!
Review: Sylvia Browne takes you on a journey of un-imaginable proportions that can only be told through a psychic's eyes. When you read this book be prepared to go on a roller coaster ride of emotions as Sylvia speaks of the Other Side, or as most of us call it Heaven. Sylvia tells you throughout her book to not take her word for it, and look it up and find out for yourself. I, being naturally skeptical called her on it and went searching for the answers myself, and what I've found can only reinforce everything that Sylvia Browne speaks of in her book(s). Sylvia has an absolutely wonderful philosophy about life, and only if more people would adopt that philosophy, the world would be such a better place. Like I've stated before, I've done the research for myself, I've meet my spirit guide, I've astrally traveled to the Other Side, and am ready to tell you that this book can and will change your life as it did mine. Find out how to fight evil and darkness as a warrior of God. Buy this book, as well as all of Sylvia's other books on her Journey of the Soul Series.

Summary: Great Book!
Review: This is a great book for those who want to know about life. When you read her books it really makes you think. I have read just about all of her books and one thing I have learned is to ask questions, especially when it comes to the bible. In regards to the review below, I think Syliva was trying to tell you that the bible is written in parables. Not all of it is true to the fact. Some parts are and some parts are just down right ridiculous. You have to think. It's like the story of Adam and Eve. Did the world come from just the two of them? Of course not!! Most people read the bible and take it for it's word. Think of how you tell a story in a room full of people. Is it exactly the same when it gets back to you? Most of the time the answer is no. So now think of the bible being written by many other people, and then it being passed on for thousands of years. Yes, I believe that we have a mother and father god. It is logical. We exists as male and female. Why wouldn't we have a male and female god? Also, she-mother god- is mentioned in the Dead Sea Scrolls that the churches have tried to hide from the public. These Scrolls were written way before the first bible was written. Anyway, the book is great! I would recommend all her books to anyone who wants to find out the truth about life, and how to deal with it while we are here to fulfill our contract with god.

Summary: What a Masterpiece!
Review: This is not the book you want to buy if you have not read any of her other books. Please note: there are also two previous books in this series (God, Creation, and Tools for Life and Soul's Perfection). This book is a very advanced piece of knowledge. It is laid out very well. I was reading the other reviews that people have written about this book and despite what one of them says, this book is not contradictory to any of Sylvia's other books. Her knowledge of the Other Side is very advanced and it NEVER makes you think, "That doesn't make any sense, in the other book she said . . ." This very negative review also says that Sylvia is pumping the books out way to fast and the quality of the books is declining. If the introduction would have been read by this individual, s/he would have known that the three books in this series have been compiled from thousands and thousands of hours of trance sessions that Sylvia has had with her spirit guide and Raheim over many years. This book is by far one of the best books Sylvia has written. It has given me knowledge that I will never forget for all time.

Summary: "Understanding Evil - At Last"
Review: This is the first of Sylvia's I have read. It really opened my mind and my heart. I realized through her knowledge and enlightenment that I was more spiritual than I thought. It surprised me. I believe Sylvia is the "real thing". I do not detect one word of insincereness. She can make you laugh without making "fun" of the subject at hand. I believe more in God and the Holy Spirit the way she does. She put into words what I had been feeling but not knowing why. So, if you want to search your soul - READ THIS! Evil is everywhere, you must protect yourself from it. This book shows you how. Sylvia can provide the comfort your soul may be seeking. She did mine. I don't live in fear any more. THANK YOU SYLVIA!!! A MUST READ FOR ANYONE INTERESTED IN SPIRITUALITY.
