Rating: Summary: it was okay Review: First I would like to say that I do like Sylvia's book and stuff. And I always loved Sylvia's sprit guide Francine. But what upset me in this book was the fact that it was really hard to relate to Francine. She barely mentioned herself. I was hoping that she would talk about her incarnation and use that as examples and stuff, but she didn't mention it once. I just thought it was also boring and hard to relate to. I thought it could have been a lot better.
Rating: Summary: Conversations With the Other Side Review: I found the messages this book attempted to convey indulgent, sexist, and to quote Francine 'chauvinistic'. The idea of people being locked in a gender for an eternity seems to me a bit restrictive not to mention the rather earthly marriage rituals (waiting for the men to initiate the process of eternal union). I am not even going to go into the counsel of elders comprised of only male spirits. And tough luck for you introverts, obviously you have not evolved to the level of your extroverted counterparts. While I like to read intelligently written books about dimensions other than the one we live in, I found that even for a fantasy book this was lacking imagination. Perhaps Francine would do well to stick to her parties, it seems that they very much color her worldview. This book made me feel sad, angry and gullible for buying it. It was my first book from this author and needless to say my last.

Rating: Summary: Good for New Readers but Nothing New. Review: The other Reviewers are correct. There really isnt any new material in this book. It a collection of Topics covered in older books she has written. However it is very good for New readers since it covers the most important topics without going into so much detail as the other books. Its great to give a New reader the most important info without making them buy more than one book. I give the book three stars because its very neat, and the information is very good. But since its nothing new, and was not advertised as being a collection of older information I took off two stars. If your a returning reader who has read other books by Sylvia Browne you most likely wont get anything new from this so dont buy it unless its for a friend who has'nt read the other books.
Rating: Summary: not worth the time Review: this book is a review of the past books. I have to agree with all of the reviews that I have read, there is truth in all of them. No doubt, Sylvia is great, but lately her books are starting to be redundant of each other. I do enjoy her newsletters though, have any of you subscribed to it? I guess sylvia is just trying to remind us, even if it is redundant, the messages that we need to remember, "take whatever applies to us and use it" and to remember to" Love"(aloha), THAT will save the human race .aloha to all.
Rating: Summary: I Might Be In The Minority, But I Thought It Was Great Review: Whether or not you are a believer in Sylvia Browne's psychic/mediumistic abilities, or in "Francine" (her spirit guide, for those of you who have not read any of Sylvia's other Other Side books), you have to sit up & take note of the messages in this book. It is written in a Q&A format which I thought was very well-written. Personally, I adore Sylvia & I believe she (& Francine) are genuine but even if you disagree with that, "whoever" wrote these words is a very wise, advanced individual. Makes a lot of sense. I would recommend it to anyone who is curious about the Other Side or needs comfort or reassurance following the loss of a loved one.
Rating: Summary: The authors Review: Wow, this is a great book,on this subject.
