Rating: Summary: Let me give you some advice... Review: A Book of Shadows is supposed to be of personal growth. I went out and bought a pretty notebook when I fist started. Then I started doing research. It turned out that I did some research on history of Wicca then started doing research on the Gods. Well, I found out that there was more to history that I bargained for and I had no room to add anything. Best answer? Save everything on your computer, you can always add stuff and keep everything neat and organized and if you really need a hard copy of everything organize it in a three ring binder. You will be able to move pages around and if sporadically a new topic comes up or stems from a new one, creating a new section will be as easy as adding a new divider. And if you have too much information to fit into one folder get another one, you can move pages from folder to folder easily and they will always be by topic. Use your money that you save by buying a book to read and educate yourself on Wicca/Paganism or whatever.
Rating: Summary: so amazing and not in a good way. Review: Are we all mad? I can't believe that anyone would want to spend this much money on a blank notebook with a tacky cover. Sure, it looks flashy, but is that really what Witchcraft is about? A 'book of shadows' is a journal of personal growth, it's not meant to be a stupid marketing gift. Enough said. Blessed Be!

Rating: Summary: Book of Shadows (Blank) Review: Are we all mad???? No really? This is a nice book. Well presented and well-made but it is blank book and how much does it cost? The Book of Shadows is a sacred book of spells, recipes and feelings. It does not have to be leather(look)-bound and cost a fortune. It is the content which is valuable not the coverings. Sorry to be so negative. Blessed be!
Rating: Summary: I enjoy my Book of Shadows Review: In the past I kept all of my Craft information and spells in a spiral notebook. Then I graduated to a three-ring binder. I think I finally had enough of the mess that my folders were in. I could not find anything, as I needed it. So, I came to Amazon.com and searched for a blank Book of Shadows. I must say I have found what i was looking for. I am a happy Witch! Actually, when I first recieved my BOS I thought it was rather plain...black. But I came up with several decorative ideas to personalize it as my own. So, that was not a problem. My actual problem came when I wanted to write in the book. For one...I was afraid of the organization of my information that I would have to do to complete my personal BOS. But I am happy to say...I have completed my first book of shadows, it is now full. I am definately going to order another one very soon. It is a great idea...get one for yourself. Blessings! )0(
Rating: Summary: no more mess Review: Okay, this book is awsome for real witches, like me!! You can Write Spells, Potions, and info about Demons, and Warlocks! I wish I had my own and didn't have to share with my wiccan sister!!!
Rating: Summary: Nice, but... Review: There is not a thing wrong with this blank book, and its price is well inside the range for similar products. However, I might have hoped that Phoenix publishing (maker of some of the nicer editions on the Craft) might have come up with a cooler design for a cover. Even a simple pentagram in a circle would have been more evocative than 'Book of Shadows' in Times Roman, and some creative effort could make a truly magical volume. So how about it? Ian
Rating: Summary: Great beginner book Review: This is a beautiful hard cover book excellent for the beginner wiccan. It is exactly as described and I highly recommend it.
Rating: Summary: Good quality blank BOS Review: this is a blank journal of solid quality. I have had mine for nearly a year now and have filled about 3/4 of it. While the faux leather finish is beginning to peel and some of my older journals have proven to be more durable, this specific BOS-style journal with large, unlined pages proves to be a versatile, classy, and helpful book for any witch to have.
