Summary: OK, but not worth the money
Review: This book is very close to being the best in the "To..." series
by Ravenwolf. It contains new information about new things, like the art of Glamoury; that was a good segment. It also has a long list of powder-recipes and colour correspondences, that I think everyone can use.
All in all it's a good book, and I don't understand why people keep bitchin' about it, or the other ones by her. I think Silver seems very carring and friendly, and if she acts like the readers
"Momma", it's probably because she worries about them.
Don't hold it against her, I don't think she does it on purpose.
Blessed Be. :-)

Summary: I find some things troubling
Review: This is the third of Silver Ravenwolf's series on Witchcraft, and it's a good one. You won't find anything really in-depth or particularly difficult in this book - but one of the things I enjoy about Ravenwolf is her simple approach, clear writing style, and common sense attitude.

I'd recommend this to either an advanced beginner, who's perhaps worked through the other two books, and/or has been practicing for several months very regularly, or for a more experienced practitioner who would like to get a different perspective on things s/he already knows, and maybe pick up a couple of new things.

Also, I'd recommend this book for teachers of the Craft, to get a perspective on things, and to review for recommendation to your students.
