Summary: A 'must read' after the loss of a loved one!
Review: After the sudden death of my son this was the only book I could concentrate on and read. I could picture my son in Heaven as I read it, and it was so conforting.

I had trouble "getting into it" in the first chapter, but once I got past that, I could not lay it down! I gave away 11 copies within a few months of reading it. When someone I know loses a loved one, I always show up with a copy of this book, and they always call and thank me for it. I highly recommend it! This is the only book I keep to read over and over besides my Bible.

If you know of someone that has lost a loved one and they seem "stuck in their grief", give them this book.

Summary: My Dream Of Heaven
Review: Five years ago I lost my mother and my father on the same day due to heart attacks within 15 minutes of each other. Two years ago I lost my 30 year old son in an auto accident. This book is the best book I have ever read other than the Bible itself. I believe that dreams and visions can be sent by God to comfort you in times of grief. This book was such an eye opener for me.
It allows you to visualize Heaven with new meaning and comfort.
I have found so much comfort in this book. I don't know why so many people are afraid to die when Heaven sounds better to me every day of my life. I would recommend it to anyone even if they have not experienced a close death dear to their heart.
I absolutely loved it.

Summary: Knock and it will be opened. Heaven in the purist sense
Review: Formerly titled "Intra Muros"

One of the first accounts of near death experience written by Rebecca Springer and published by David C. Cook in 1898.

I was fortunate to find this book at a yard sale and almost didn't take the time to look inside, since I couldn't translate the title. What a gem and so well written with wonderful detail of Ms Springer's visions on the other side of the veil.

During a very severe illness, Rebecca found herself alone with no one at her side and needing comfort turned to Jesus. Jesus was at her side and led her to the "promised land" where she was taken to visit relatives and friends who had passed over.

Her description of several "mansions" that have been prepared for the newly departed is very comforting and one realizes that we are just a "heartbeat" away from the other side.

The "refreshing water" from the lake where one is renewed and refreshed after passing over is very illuminating.

The various duties that one is given like helping those who are coming over and the "reunion" scenes are very enlightening.

Having had a near death experience in 1974, I can testify that this is "real" and very much in harmony with my own experiences.

I no longer fear death and was able to review my life and come to the understanding that "love" is the answer to living. Giving and receiving love and Jesus is here to love us unconditionally and to accept us in all our humanity.

Summary: A Grief Reliever
Review: I was the caregiver for my mother who died from cancer. After many months of heavy grief a close friend gave me this book. Reading about the very desciptive place called Heaven I started on the road to recovery from a nightmare. The vivid pictures that are painted in your minds eye are unforgettable! When I take food to a grieving family I also try to take them a copy of this book. To anyone that doubts life after death I would recommend this book to you also.

Summary: Inspiring, wonderful...a classic!
Review: If you're like me and enjoy reading accounts of visits to heaven but are not terribly fond of corney made-for-profit hyper-spiritual books, you'll definately want to get this book. It's short and sweet and matter-of-fact. And at it's price...a bargain.

Summary: Very Comforting and Highly Recommended
Review: My pastor recommended this book after the death of my son, and it was a tremendous help, giving me a lot of comfort. It was so good, I kept giving them away- so I was on my 7th book before I finally finished it! I could barely put it down, yet kept giving it away! Finally one Sat. I read the whole book. (I just ordered 3 more) This is a book I will read over and over, although I'm not one to read books more than once. It lines up with the Bible, and so easy to read.

Summary: Great Help After the Loss of my Son
Review: This book helped me a great deal in helping me visualize Heaven, even though I know it is a gazillion times better than anyone can describe from their imaginations or dreams or even possibly going there and returning. I personally don't believe this happens but I do believe God may give someone a glimpse in dreams. I believe in Heaven and life after death and this book help me a great deal after losing my son. He is there and having a wonderful time. I would recommend this book to anyone that has lost a loved one or is fearing death. There is nothing to fear... God is still on the Throne.
