Summary: Inaccurate but good poetry
Review: This book has some beautiful imagery and is a good work of fiction. BUT, be very careful about using it as a source for information on druidry. It's filled with inaccuracies and misinformation. Read everything you can but think about what you're told before charging into the unknown.

Summary: A compilation of Druid Magick
Review: This book is just as good as the 21 lessons of Merlyn. I feel and so does the author that you should read the 21 lessons of Merlyn before this book. The reason for this is this book is an extension to the first. The first book should be read and worked through all the way before engaging in this book. This book has just about all the druidic magick you will ever need along with magickal techniques such as finding a special staff just for you and shaping the very existance around us. A very powerful book and could be dangerous if used the wrong way. If any of you live in the buffalo area and are looking for some one to work with or need some one to ask questions just email me and I will return them as prompt as I personally recieve them.

Summary: A Silly Book.
Review: This book, while somewhat more entertaining than it`s predecesor, is fictional nonsense. while most people reviewing this book are clueless as to what druidism is anyway, and that includes Mr.Bonewits(If you ever attended one of his lame "Seminars"...you would realize he is nothing more than a yuppie environmentalist...ie: a college puke who`s favorite word is "Neopagan"....And no, isaac ,you CAN`T be both a wiccan AND a druid at the same time!)One should also avoid books written by Ross Nichols Too!

Summary: Excellent AND worthwhile!!!
Review: This sequel of The 21 Lessons of Merlyn is a nice balance of history and highly usable and practical druidic magick. Anyone interested in Celtic magick, history, or spirituality would do good to read this wonderful book.

Summary: Mixed blessings
Review: While historically I believe that Mr. Monroe does not have much factual basis for his claims, I still applauded this book. His use of Jungian psychology is the saving grace of this book. It shows that even though 99.9% of druidic knowledge was destroyed it still lives on as part of the universal subconscious. As a student of history I was greatly pleased to not see fabricated BS that so often accompanies Llewellyn's books. Things like the great holocaust in the 6th century (he called it the destruction of Avalon.) As a magical system I feel that it works quite well. I have assimilated it into my own workings and am absolutely in love with it. For once, something that does not draw heavily from Gardner. This book is a shining light among the filth. I could not recommend this book or its predecessor any higher.
