Summary: A wonderful revealing body of knowledge
Review: A World Beyond was not only the first book of channelled information I read, but was the first real explanation regarding what really happens to us beyond this physical reality. For me, having been raised a Southern Baptist, this WAS a very big "eye opener", needless to say.

I would highly recommend this work for anyone who is unsure about not only their spirituality, but about their own mortality. Ruth Montgomery does a very good job through "automatic writing" with this, as she has written exactly as was dictated to her by Arthur and the guides.

Amazingly, even now with all the information available, whenever I have a serious question about anything needing further explanation, I still go back to this work to see what was written there. I feel that it is written in the easiest to comprehend terms of anything in print to date.

Summary: A World Beyond by Ruth Montgomery
Review: I found this book when I was about 17 years old. It had just come out and there were not many books on the subject of reincarnation back then. I have now read many books of this kind. It is my opinion that A World Beyond gives the clearest and most accurate picture of the other side. Although Journey Of Souls by Michael Newton, is also excellent .. if you need to be "drawn a picture" .. A World Beyond, does just that. I highly recommend this book to anyone with an open mind and a desire to expand their beliefs.

Review: I was given this book as a Christmas present,it had been bought second hand first published in 1971
Ruth i'm sure has grown in experience as an author and as a medium since righting this book as has I hope Arthur Ford has grown in experience since passing, but the undercurrant of this book was I feel racist and neochristian.
and yet evan though we view the spiritworld through this narrow viewpoint it still does give a wide discription of the spirit world...if you are looking for an open minded view of the spirit world among many I would recommend Doris Stokes,Stephen o brian,Derreck Acora,Gordon Smith,Toni Stockwell

Summary: Depressing
Review: The book was really good, but now I really DONT want to die. Sheesh, work work work whether you're here or there. It's no different than being in the physical world except things are "more colorful" and there's no money/capitalism. But nasty people and good people still have to coexist and "work" on their inner beings to become a better soul. You never meet anybody except endless strangers, maybe that old man that used to live next door to you when you were a kid and drove you NUTS and chased you with a broom. Well he's probably up there working on his inner being now. Work work work, learn learn learn. The afterlife, as described in this book, made me wanna stay here. I hope I can forget all about this book.

Summary: Book is outdated and boring.
Review: Well, I have struggled to get through the first couple of chapters, and I feel as though I am reading a Doctor Suess book. I think this was written in a time where science was not known to very many, therefore it was written to appease the layman. I was hoping for a little more than, "if you are bad, this happens, or if you commit suicide than this happens". No matter what, people still equate the afterlife to what is known here on earth. Well, sorry to say, but I think it would be alot broader than "Trees being more green, people going fishing, etc..." Sorry to bring this down, but I think we know more about our universe and other religions now to put this book back on the shelf. Glad I bought it used.

Summary: awesome
Review: Wow what a book. I came across it by accident, picked it up and started reading. I could not put it down. It is just how I have believed life after death to be. To actually read something that describes my thoughts. The purpose of our existance, it is a must to read.

Summary: A WORLD BEYOND
Review: WOW! What a great book, couldn't put it down. I had heard of this book from my Grandmother when I was very young. Not until now (25) had I read this. This book helped to renite my inner feelings of life after death, I had been so busy as we all get and how wonderful to reawake myself. Not for the "good bible beater"... Well maybe. I hope everyone who has contact with this book is able to approach with an open heart. There is a wonderful message that awaits all of us. My love to you Ruth and Arthor.
