Rating: Summary: Bigfoot Sasquatch is Honest and Brilliant Review: Grover Krantz deserves a place in history for courageouslywriting a clear and scientifically sound description of proof that alarge biped ape-like animal does hide in the forests. Any non-biasedreader who actually examines the overwhelming evidence will be amazed..... Grover details impressive footprint evidence (and some hoaxes)and also how the proportions of the famous 1967 film of a femaleBigfoot could not be a human in a fur suit. He is right. I'm aHollywood animation artist and so I deal in human proportion andmovement. There is simply no way that this film could possibly be ahoax. Even the muscles move under the fur. This is a great book foradults, and also for your favorite young adults. The subject willkeep them interested, and the scientific lucidness will be a goodinfluence on them.
Rating: Summary: The Best... Review: Hands down the best book on Bigfoot/Sasquatch that is in print. Excellent, sound theories and undeniable evidence that confirm the existence. Meticulous studies on foot and body anatomy, footprints and dermal ridges, the famous Patterson film, what creature Bigfoot may be and much much more. Read this book and you will never doubt Bigfoots existence.
Rating: Summary: As a Physicist, the Science here is unshakable Review: I have run into many "facts" made by dubious bigmouths...I have yet to hear one that wasnt an embarrassingly obvious beg for attention and/or woeful misinformed and out of date faux pas.Krantz does not ask anybody to take anything on faith. He proves his case with mathematics. If anyone has anything to refute, then they may proceed with math, if they are up to it. The skeptic apologists talk big, but NO ONE has ever stepped up and taken Krantz head on. No one ever talks about the extra wide shoulders, no one talks about the fingerprints on the feet, no one ever talks about the Native American tribal carvings. Krantz has the proof, and none of these items has ever been refuted. As such, Krantz wins. As a brave soul and as an intellectual.
Rating: Summary: The Best Place to Start Your Study of the "Scientific" Case Review: Krantz really knows how to make the proverbial mountain out of a molehill. The fact is, this book does a wonderful job of spending a lot of time talking about a very little evidnece, and then using that evidence to hypothisize at length about a creature that may not even exist. Still, Krantz brings a lot more knowledge and respectability to the subject than any other autor in the field of cryptozoology.
Rating: Summary: An excellent read Review: Only a few pages of this book differ from his earlier "Big Footprints," an excellent read if you enjoy speculation. Though Dr. Krantz admittedly never saw a bigfoot; he bravely wrote about it mostly from his analysis of the Patterson-Gimlin Film and accounts from questionable informants. His ability to calculate and project reasonable data, although based on speculative resources is outstanding. One would have to disagree with his Gigantopithecus hypothesis, Gigantopithecus was a quadruped not able to make the lengthy upright stride-length projections Krantz calculates. The book is worth reading even though there isn't much added data from his original book. A pioneer in this field, he left us too soon, but this old friend will remember him.
Rating: Summary: Bigfoot Sasquatch by Grover Krantz Review: The book is full of information and knowledge, but I must warn you that it is not exciting, it is great for facts, and scientific evidence, it should be in every bigfoot readers library. By Eric J Mazzi emtazmazz@aol.com
Rating: Summary: An in depth investigation Review: This book goes into great detail on many bigfoot topics from the Patterson film to the study of tracks. It's so in depth that it actually got slightly boring at times, however the information is top-notch. If you really want to understand the evidence out there, read this book.
