Rating: ![5 stars](http://www.reviewfocus.com/images/stars-5-0.gif) Summary: The Bridge Review: "This is a beautiful story dealing with the confrontation of one's painful past. Bergren truly allows her characters to be 'sifted' (as Beth Moore would say). When the character opens the bleeding wound and allows Father God to rinse it out and bandage it, healing lies in wait."

Rating: ![4 stars](http://www.reviewfocus.com/images/stars-4-0.gif) Summary: Great book!! It won't let you down! Review: As all of Lisa Tawn Bergren's books this was another great story. Once I started reading I couldn't put it down. It is a wonderful story connecting the past to the present. Lisa creatively weaved the love God has for all of us throughout the generations. She describes the Montana countryside so wonderfully, it will make you want to spend your summer there! Can't wait for Lisa's next book!!
Rating: ![5 stars](http://www.reviewfocus.com/images/stars-5-0.gif) Summary: Heartwarming and Realistic Review: Finally, a love story that doesn't seem completely unrealistic. Bergren weaves a heartwarming story of a relationship between Jared and Eden, two adults who are definitely NOT looking to get involved in a relationship. I loved the way their relationship developed slowly and with much thought for what was best for each other and what would be pleasing to God. This is one book I have gladly recommended to my teenage daughter in hopes that she will see how seeking God's will is always the best way to make a choice that will affect your whole life. A great read--I didn't want to put it down!
Rating: ![3 stars](http://www.reviewfocus.com/images/stars-3-0.gif) Summary: Disappointing...... Review: I read "Torchlight" right before i read this book and had only one problem with it- it ended abruptly leaving you with unanswered questions. I found the same problem in this book "The Bridge".
"The Bridge" did not have a plot that drew me into the book, in fact, i only finished the book because i can never leave anything unfinished. The storyline flip-flopped between the two characters leaving the reader confused.
But as before the main problem with Mrs. Bergren's work is the abrupt ending. Althougth this book had a epilogue it dealt with a unimportant topic and still left many question unanswered.
Overall, i would not recommend this book to anyone nor would i ever read it again.
Rating: ![5 stars](http://www.reviewfocus.com/images/stars-5-0.gif) Summary: Intrique, Depth, and Insights to Agape Love Review: The Bridge is an excellent book of great insights into the true nature of God's love. As God works in this story, every Fruit of the Spirit, i.e. love, joy, self-control, etc., is evident. The vivid imagery makes the characters so real that one may expect to look up and see them. As the main character, Jared, grows closer to the Lord, he also grows more uncomfortable with his former worldly pursuits. Eden's faith is tested as she risks confronting her greatest fears. This love story shows that the Christian walk is an ever growing experience.
Rating: ![5 stars](http://www.reviewfocus.com/images/stars-5-0.gif) Summary: Couldn't put it down! Review: The Bridge was a wonderful love story that went deeper than a simple romance. Compelling characters, and Bergren did a wonderful job of making her setting every bit as interesting and important as her characters. The intertwining of stories from two generations was masterful. Meaningful message, but subtle. I didn't want it to end.
Rating: ![5 stars](http://www.reviewfocus.com/images/stars-5-0.gif) Summary: Heartwarming! Review: This book warmed my heart during the snowy December week I read it. Lisa Bergren's characters have real problems that we can identify with. Lisa gives not only her characters the answer to their problems, but hope for all of us going through difficulties in our lives. She weaves the love of God throughout her story without sounding preachy. I loved the story's setting. It made me long for summer and bare feet.

Rating: ![5 stars](http://www.reviewfocus.com/images/stars-5-0.gif) Summary: I couldn't put it down! Review: When was the last time a book made you smile, hold your breath, and cry at the same time? This book does just that. An absorbing work of fiction, Lisa Tawn Bergren combines family sacrifice, deep friendship, and coming to grips with your past with finding your connection to God.
You will find yourself cheering for Anna Conway as she escapes an abusive relationship to save her young son. Turn to the next chapter and Jared is all grown up, trying to find his way in life with a son of his own. Will Eve ever learn to open her heart to love again? Will she be able to take a chance? What happens when Jared finishes the cabin and has to return to the city, will he go or will he stay?
The pages fly by as you get to know the characters inside and out. God's plan is revealed as you switch between the past and the present until they collide in the climax. Who will remain when all the secrets are out? Will they choose a life with God and peace or something else?
If it's been awhile since you lost yourself in a "good book".
This is the one to get!
