Rating: 4 stars
Summary: a mystical adventure
Review: An American Mystic is the story of a modern searcher. Struggling with the age old desire for spiritual connection with the divine in a modern world, full of modern problems, is the basic premise for the book. Like the Celestine Prophecy, the book uses allegory to provoke spiritual lessons. Personally, I found the book very intriguing.

Summary: A Good Vehicle for Spirituality
Review: Any attempt to explain spiritual pathways through semi-fiction usually seem awkwardly transparent to the writer's agenda. Nevertheless, I found that I did not want this book to end. His critiques of traditional religion are accurate, and his possibilities of a new spirituality are hopeful. It is definitely a positive contribution to the emerging new spiritual paradigm.
