Summary: Thought Provoking.
Review: I have read the angelwalk series..and I can still remember the feeling of awe...as thoughts and ideas were sparked by Roger Elwoods words and his way of pointing out things in our Culture and in the world around us that I had never thought about before.
He opened My eyes to emotions and led My mind to brainstorming and re-evaluating circumstances and "political" at times; issues that I had once thought I was solute on. He inspired the most sincere inner look at My own christian philosophy..and with such ease..I am a devout christian..and I assure You..that his words opened My eyes..I would recommend this series of books to anyone who wants to take an inner look at themselves.

Summary: A breathtaking portrayal of life, death and what lies beyond
Review: The Angelwalk Trilogy is easily the one of the most moving books (or rather, series) I've ever read. Elwood clearly and passionately portrays the greatness that can come out of tragedy, the pervading evil that can hide behind even the most seemingly harmless facets of modern life. He shows us the overwhelming beauty of Heaven and the gut-wrenching horror of hell. And through Elwoods mastery of the written word we are given audience to the workings of the spiritual, unseen in our physical realm. Biting social commentary and powerful, sometimes disturbing imagery usher us into a world in which an elusive Satan and his sometimes reluctant hordes confront the forces of Almighty God for domination... Our own. The Angelwalk Trilogy is nothing short of a work of genius. Both engaging and breathtaking as a novel and peppered with enough spiritual truths to be used as a devotional, Roger Elwood's Angelwalk Trilogy is essential reading for the literary Christian

Summary: Neurotic fundamentalist projections and rantings
Review: The back of the book claims that this compares with C.S. Lewis. Not by a long shot ! Talk about name dropping to try to get sales ! I've read Lewis and believe me, Elwood is no Lewis!

This book is so full of hatred and judgemental xenophobia, homophobia, and a quite a few other phobias -- I don't even know where to start.

Enough to say that if I find out someone actually likes and agrees with the cultic propaganda found in this book, I wouldn't invite them to my home.

In light of 9/11, America now knows the dangers of extreamist positions in ANY faith and how very dangerous the self-righteous really are.

The only reason that I even give it 1 star is because of the art on the dust jacket.

Summary: Eric Rudolph as Author
Review: The stench of brimstone is coming from these books, but the source is not the characters, it is the author. His intense, vitriolic hatred and contempt for people is astonishing. If you are looking for spiritually uplifting fiction, you'd be better off reading a slasher novel on the bestseller list. If you are looking for evidence that many evangelical Christians hate and reject the teachings of Jesus, look no farther. If Eric Rudolph, the Olympic Park bomber wrote novels, he would write novels like this....

Summary: Light for a dark world
Review: These books focus on the way that Satan has led many astray. They are brutally honest; Elwood has not painted the fallen angels and fallen humanity in pretty rose-colored hues. I have honestly not found one single sinful act in these books that is not described in the Bible as sin.

Do you believe that Jesus really is the Way? Do you believe that The Bible is the word of God and not made up by man? These books will certainly make you think about what is to come during eternity. I believe the author shows a great deal of compassion for his fellow humans and a desire to only put forth what will glorify God and help those lost see how wrong the path they are on is. By seeing the dark side--perhaps more will accept the forgivness that is offered through Christ.

"Choose this day whom you will serve."
