Summary: Unique among end-times novels!! FANTASTIC!
Review: I don't like novels, but I loved this book. It is filled with interesting tidbits and challenging notions. I was thrilled from page one! An outstanding novel that had me from the get-go...I highly recommend this book.

Summary: It gripped me beginnig to end
Review: I enjoyed the first two books of this trilogy very much and have found myself wondering about the characters and the final outcome. The character development in this novel is excellent. I have to say I am very upset that Nelson has refused to publish the final book of the trilogy. In my opinion that is a mistake. I would purchase it immediately upon release should they ever change their mind.

Summary: Great Reading !!! But feel Betrayed
Review: I have thoroughly enjoyed reading both books in this series - Book 1: The Beginning of Sorrows and Book 2: Fallen Stars, Bitter Waters. The characters are wonderful and well written. I have been politley harrassing the neighborhood bookstores in search of the third in the trilogy. Only now to find out that the publishers are betraying their readers by deciding to not release the final book. I think it is dispicable on the part of the publishers for not releasing the third and final book of this trilogy. With the End Times seeming to be looming before us even more now than ever, I would hope that the publishers and authors of end times novels would realize the overwhelming interest in God inspiring literature, and realize the reponsibility that they have to readers that are seeking inspiration and answers to their own questions about God's love.

Summary: An unusual twist on End Times Fiction!
Review: I highly recommend this book and it's 2nd part, Fallen Stars, Bitter Waters. These books are a world apart from traditional End Times fiction, such as "Left Behind." If you can get past this author's idea that everyone in the future has a weird and lengthy name, you'll find an engrossing (if complicated) plot and a diverse group of characters. I'm very frustrated by the publisher's decision to NOT publish part three of this trilogy, but I still recommend reading the first two.

Summary: Captivating! Can't wait to read the next one!
Review: I read this book in less than 2 days. I just couldn't put it down! I had to know what was going to happen to the characters. There is a lot of detail to the plot. So much so sometimes it's a drawback to the plot. There are many, many characters to keep track of, which can be difficult at times. However, it's well worth it. I could easily see the real-life plausibility of the story line: the environmentalits, the realiance on thechnology, the downsizing of the military. This is one of the things that made the book so good. The other thing that makes this book good is that the reader gets some biblical information to back up the plot and the characters. It's not just "science-fiction" and it's not just blither...and it's not preachy. The book let's anyone see that it could happen to them, even without the Christian element of the story. I have already purchased the second book of the trilogy, "Fallen Stars, Bitter Water" and I can't wait until the final book, "Seven Golden Vials" is released!

Summary: So far, not impressed...
Review: I really enjoyed reading the first two books of the Omega Trilogy. I found them to be an engaging and thought-provoking interpretation of end times prophesy. The story line is just different enough from books like the Left Behind series to remind you that only God knows exactly how prophesy will be realized. (Also, the plot and characters were better and more fully developed.) The major negative is that the conclusion, the third book in the trilogy, will never be released according to the publisher. Apparently the bottom line is a bit more important to the company than leaving it's readers "hanging." I would encourage the publisher to do something positive for public relations (more importantly, out of concern for its readers) and reconsider its decision not to release the third book in the series.

Summary: 3rd book out??
Review: I, too, have desired to get the 3rd book, Seven Golden Vials. After waiting and waiting, I gave up. I searched a few other places to find it and just got notified that I will be getting the 3rd book in the series in the mail this week! I just loved the 1st- 2 books, and my 13 yr. old son also read them. I HOPE that this is not just a mistake. I have yet to see the book advertised anywhere else, so lets hope this is the real deal. It is called, The Exiles. We'll see...

Summary: I fall asleep everytime I pick it up.
Review: Ok, I bought both of these books because of the rave reviews you people are giving it. But for the past two years I cannot seem to get through book one. It is awful and boring. As soon as there is a character that holds my interest they end up in the woods and not spoken of again. I see why the writers don't want to continue it. The book sucks and doesn't make any sense. And ever page they keep introducing a new character with no depth or any real purpose. This might sound strange but the book is just too wordy for no reason and it won't get to the point or the purpose. I guess those who love the book must be related to the publishers or the writers of course you are going to celebrate the book because you want it to sell and I guess I fell for it.
