Summary: River Musings is a must have by your bedside
Review: This is a wonderful book. You can read right through it, or just a few essays at a time. The essays appeared in the 1000 Island Sun over the past few summers. Even though I had read her column regularly, I love having the essays available in a book. Each short piece can stand alone, but they are also connected by threads of thoughts or feelings. It's a book you can go back and read again and again. An essay can take on new meanings depending on what's happening in you life.
