Rating: Summary: Singsation - what a sensation! Review: You know when I first read the inside cover of this book, I didn't think I would find any interest in it. That's because the plot focused on stardom and the main character's desire for singing, etc.. and singing really wasn't my passion. I'm more geared toward novels about women in business (interior designing, architecture... along those lines). But I took a chance on the book because of the reviews I've read. I must say I truly enjoyed this book. It was interesting to read how Deborah was determined to keep her focus on God especially where there where numerous opportunities to be faced with great temptation. I liked the way that she was able to share her faith with Triage, Phoebe, Vianca, Emerald and the other characters without wavering. In her moments of doubt, thanks and praise, I liked that Deborah would run to her heavenly Father and stay in a constant prayer with Him developing a bonding relationship. Also, the family bond between Deborah and her parents <that was expressed throughout the novel> was really touching - more realistic. I'm glad to see that there are more and more "romance" novels like these on the horizon. So far Jacqueline, Victoria C. Murray and Stephanie Perry Moore are my top three favorites. Their novels focus on actual relationships with God through Jesus and I thank God for these women who continue to bring a fresh perspective to this industry.
