So far I've read only the intro, in which the author talks of careful balancing and judgment considering the controversies in the area, which leaves me worried even more than before: A lot can be learned and unlearned in 40+ years of science. Is this work still authoritative and worth republishing? or is somebody just making a quick buck with a good-looking cover, a great title, but an outmoded text with suspect identifications of its visual materials?
