Rating: 3 stars
Summary: A bit dull
Review: All the facts are here, but where's the story? This was obviously very well researched, but poorly written. It would be great resource material for someone to write a book on the Mary Celeste, but it doesn't make much of a book by itself. Considering the fascinating subject, this was really slow and tedious to read, especially the second half with all of the court procedings. I was rather disappointed with it.

Summary: Mary Celeste
Review: THis book is the most authoratative work on the mystery of the Mary Celeste. Originally published in the early 1940s it appears to provide the most truthful information to this date. No one will ever find the truth to this mystery and the dissapearance of the crew.
My interest in the mystery is due to being a decendant of two and possibly three members of the crew of this ship.
