Summary: For every romantic, not just the Tantra-oriented
Review: I will mention right off the best thing about this book - an incomparable, mind-boggling love scene between the author and her Tantric guru. This is the hottest and best-described love scene I have ever read, culminating in her mind-blowing orgasm that explodes into blissful oneness with the universe (her description almost takes us there).

I am an English major and long-time student of Eastern philosphies; and I have never read anything like it.

The book is psychologically and philosophically solid, I believe; although one would do well to balance it with a non-Tantric mystical work from someone truly enlightened, such as Echhart Tolle's "The Power of Now."

Not only does it tell a story but also provides some very insightful information about the world of Tantra and spirituality. I recommend this book from the novice, wanting to learn more about Tantra to the expert, wanting to share the experience of a young woman's journey.

Review: This book also helps men in understanding the thought processes of the female. I found it to be insightful and wonderfully simple. Many books on this subject try to be mystical or bury you in history. I highly recommend this book to anyone who is starting their (male or female) tantric path.

Review: Yeesh. A how-to for base sex with strangers disguised as spiritual love-making and a path to God. It caters to the basest urges -- all the while blathering about cosmic "religion." Sort of like hyping lovemaking with a corpse that has been made up skillfully to disguise the decomposition. Yeeesh. If you love someone, you automatically want to kiss every part of their body, so who needs this book? Indulging in sex with one's guru master doesn't elevate sex; it denigrates spirituality. It is a parody of the soul's union with God.
