Rating: Summary: Great Book and a Worthy Buy Review: This is a wonderful book and worthy of 5 stars but I chose to give 4 because this book is VERY SLOW to get interesting. An elder told me I should read this book to help me with my 'Sacred Silence' and this isnt discussed until nearly the end of the book. The book tells of 'grandfathers' life and his quest for spiritual completion and of 'white man's' world and religion. The meditations given in this book is truly THE BEST I have found and for this alone the book is worth more than Tom Brown is asking!! If you are interested in Native American life and/or meditations and life mending tools.. then this book is for you!! BUT be aware that this book is VERY detailed and this is the reason the book is slow.
Rating: Summary: Accurate Review: Tom Brown's instructor, Stalking Wolf, was indeed guided. His sense of dynamic versus static was dead on. Dynamic is the way I was taught, but had never seen it in print before. My thanks to Stalking Wolf for his journey and Tom Brown for putting it into words to share. Stalking Wolf knew who it would reach. My thanks also to Wakan Tanka, Ina Maka, and Tunkashila.
