Rating: Summary: Heartwarming Review: This is a wonderful book. It is heartwarming, comforting and practical. The author writes and instructs with sincerity, love, and compassion, displaying many of the qualities that she advocates. One of the most appealing qualities about this book is the simplicity with which these concepts are presented. Just about anyone from any culture and of any age can benefit from this workbook.Follow her suggestions for discarding old psychological baggage, focus on your dreams, open up to your intuition and believe in yourself. Let go of old negative thought forms like fear and unforgiveness etc. Believe in yourself and claim your dreams -- I agree with her that we all can do this. This book full of hope and courage will help anyone who can truly grasp the principles and work with them. Its at least the beginning of a journey towards peace of mind.
Rating: Summary: Excellent resource listening to yourself Review: Upbeat and positive advice for an overly self-critical world. This book is excellent for getting you to find those priorities in your life you haven't let yourself take seriously. Her exercises will not only help you clarify your goals, they'll energize you to act on them. She uses client histories to illustrate how sometimes we think we want something (or someone!) when that is really the superficial cover for a more profound or significant desire. She also provides excellent commentary and a new spin on the maxim, "Be careful what you wish for, you will get it." Sonia Choquette's spirited and easy writing makes following her suggested exercises a joy, not a chore. I couldn't put this book down once I first picked it up.
Rating: Summary: Deep Inspiration! Review: When I first looked at this book, I thought it was just another flaky new age book but because the cover was so pretty, I decided to flip through it. Once I began reading it, I found that it not only was full of great insights that made a lot of sense, but extremely inspiring! It gives you the courage to forgive, to let go of anger, and to let go of fears that prevent you from reaching your potential! My life has not been the same since I read this book! Since I read this book, everyday is a day I make progress toward my dreams in life. It is a wonderful feeling! Another great book I'd recommend along these lines is "The Ever-Transcending Spirit" by Toru Sato. It is more theoretical but helps you understand everything and see the world including yourself as one coherent big picture! I think you won't be disappointed with these books.
