Rating: Summary: not quite what i hoped for Review: I realize that the "secrets of mentalism" would not be divulged for the mere 15 dollar cost of this book, however both the book jacket and edtorial reviews suggested quite a bit more than Kreskin reveals here.POSITIVES: The book is an easy read, interesting enough to hold my attention. It does offer some examples of a mentalist's 'magic' NEGATIVES: Those examples arent explained, and there is a lot of fluff around the scarce info that is actually offered. I was sort of insulted when a simple math trick was employed to "magically read the audience member's mind!!" Lots of totally normal logic is passed off as mentalism :( I think I probably expected too much from this book, but overall, it really didn't offer any valuable info that I hadnt heard a dozen times before or anything new at all for that matter. Personally, I learned a lot more about the field of mentalism from reading about Remote Viewing and Neuro-Linguistic Programming. This book is a good read for entertainment, but a horrible read for those looking to sharpen their mental muscles.
Rating: Summary: Another book by the World's best know modern day Mentalist Review: Kreskin offers another book. He is by far the most well know mentalist in the field today. After a over thirty year carrer of appearing on the top television shows of our time and crisscrossing the country appearing at colleges, etc. Kreskin is truly a professional and expert in his field.
